It's quite a personal thing but so far I've used:

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk

http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk

and http://www.angelwax.co.uk

for my favourite (so far) quick exterior detailer. I've picked up some stuff off amazon too. Ultimatefinish give you a little discount when you buy stuff and occasionally do some reasonable promotions. Shipping can be sluggish though.

Enjoy!

What products are people using nowadays??

Last time I bought stuff it was Megs and Poorboys stuff etc.

I've seen people using Dodo juice etc over the years......what clay, wax, polish, shampoo, tyre gloss and wheel cleaner etc are people using??

I still have a load of water magnets and microfibre towels.

I like i4detailing aswell can get discount with them.

For simple stuff like tyre shine, tardis etc etc IMO it's easier just to get an autosmart rep to give you some 5l tubs.

Seen some recent excitement on here about the bilt hamber clay, got one but not had chance to use yet with the weather sucking balls.

Just tried the poorboys white diamond glaze a few weeks ago, really liked it, they do an equivalent black hole glaze for dark cars (mine's GM). Also got the poorboys liquid nattys blue after reading good stuff on here, but again not got any on her yet.

Not dabbled too much in waxes and polishes (except the Meg's 3 stage which didn't really get me excited), just been using the stuff in Waxybox so far. I'm still a learner in this area.

Of all the stuff I've been experimenting with so far, my favourite product is the angelwax QED. It's well priced, goes on like a dream and leaves a great (IMHO) finish, I can do the whole car in a few minutes. Great for finishing off the sneaky mid-week in between wash & dry, for a shiny finish for practically no effort.

Have fun on your mega order, nothing better than getting a big box of fresh detailing goodies to play with - except actually driving the Zed of course.

I think cleanyourcar is pretty much the best price for everything at the moment and also has the biggest selection. Like you im about to buy a few hundred worth of stuff, so filled up my basket with everything i want, then went on eBay to find the same things to load into my basket. Ebay was about £30 dearer at £285.

Wax is cheaper on eBay, though. Wasso highly recommended Dodo Juice Supernatural to me. Most places sell for £65, £55 on eBay :D

Yep, I use cleanyourcar.co.uk, great range of products, even got my DA from them and they do a points system, like clubcard/nectar points etc. but is much more worthwhile, have saved quite a bit from using them. Oh and Poorboys Black Hole Glaze is a must if you have a dark car, I would be lost without it lol

Have you got a new car to tidy up or is the m3 overdue a clean?

This stinks of an inadvertant attention seeking thread for a new motor monsiour Sandwich! ;-)

As stinky as it may be if sarnie has a new car we need to be made aware

Faceplant holds not clues......perhaps it is just a stock up on soapy stuff.

But that's just boring... This thread deserves a lambo replacement

Speaking of detailing I just had my first detailing session in my new house- the neighbours are realising I'm bonkers. 2 and a half hours washing and polishing the skyline and I'm totally goosed- getting too old for this

Looking forward to wierd looks when I finish it tomorrow

Cleanyourcar.co.uk get most of my business. (Hate to think how much I've spent there!) also this post reminds me I need some more stuff. Cloths and waxing pads etc I usually get from Waxy Shop.

Another clean your car fan. Also like i4deailing too.

Best products I've discovered are the sonax range... Their wheel cleaner is amazing and their quick detailer is an amazing sealant too... All from cleanyourcar

I like Auto Finesse products. Have a look on the detailingworld forum, its a wealth of information.

If you Iike Auto finesse go to carchem... They make the Auto finesse stuff and buying direct is much cheaper...
