glrnet Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I bought a leather strap recently for my camera and the following advice was printed on the packaging, it started well but then I can only imagine they got the wrong language "specialist" in This product is made of leather. Please use the following information carefully. 1. When soaked in water, dry, ventilated win-win situation in the shade, direct sunlight, do not dry or columns. 2. The process for dyeing leather for water (rain, sweat, temperature etc) is a long contact. When you get the friction on the otitis, and clothing, leather products, which is the attribute of the product is not defective Your particular attention 3. When this Product is buried, to clear the wax, and leather-only cream. 4. Preserved at a high temperature or humidity, please avoid it if possible Quote

twobears Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Yikes! That reminds me of the chap that I used to sit next to at work. He seemed mild mannered enough until one day he came into work with a bag from which he proceeded to get some weird leather harness and asked me, as a horse owner, how I would advise him to clean it. It certainly wasn't a harness designed to fit any horse I've ever seen Quote

twobears Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 "At least he didn't ask you how you'd get it dirty." No, I suppose I should be grateful for small mercies I did actually give him cleaning instructions for his harness but that spurred him on to ask me at a party a few weeks later what advice I would give him for soothing a sore nipple that he'd just had pierced I advised putting a cabbage leaf on it Quote
