Ultra Rare ZedShed Harness Cover

Evening all -

 

I'm sure you are well aware of the RARE JDM Harness cover - well the ZedShed spurred on by Buster and Wasso's comments in the Ginger Ninja build thread would like to present for your delight (or disgust) the

 

Ultra Rare ZedShed Harness Cover

 

 

So started with this and a tape measure

 

 

Found some metal

 

 

Cut it shaped it and welded it

 

 

Added a frilly bit

 

 

sanded the welds

 

 

A good clean

 

 

First powder coat (not happy)

 

 

Second coat and lacquer

 

 

in daylight

 

 

A few fitted shots

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hope you like it all comments welcome

Nice, but don't think the frilly bit is really adding anything to the look.

I need to see that textured powder coat in the flesh, i'm not really taking to it in the pix

Lovely bit of fabrication but as above not sure about the wavey rear edge. Either way great efforts guys.

even managed to change the colour of the earthing kit to match.

Too much hammered copper going on in there, needs a contrasting colour, maybe some graphics on the harness cover. I can cut you some if you want.

re made the kit using some 4 gauge wire Keyser had...lucky a good colour match

It's a bloody good effort, cut the frilly bit off, I see its purpose, so a wire tuck is in order.

My thoughts, but that's why the frilly bit is there otherwise you get a messy bit on the left as you look in.

 

 

As to the colour it does go and is not to blingy, my Mrs and Buster love it, I like it on his car, not green enough for me.
