The Bounty Bar Kid Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 So Iron Man 3 comes out next month. I've had the day booked off since October. Anybody else as excited as me? Seen the first film about 12-15 times and the second one about 10 times It comes out on Friday 26th April, with some cinemas starting at 00:01 on the 25th April. Teaser 1... Teaser 2... 2 Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 Official trailer... TV spot from last night, I wet my pants after seeing this one (caution plot giveaway)... Quote
Ekona Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I can't wait for this, hence I'm not spoiling it for myself by watching any trailers as they always show the best bits. Same with Star Trek. Quote

rtbiscuit Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Myself and my wife are both looking forward to this Quote
glrnet Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Ditto, but haven't clicked on any of Dips's links either Quote

He may dress like a woman but he definitely isn't one, so not interested. Quote
HEADPHONES Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 My 4 yr old daughter is iron man crazy. She has no concept of cinema classifications but knows "12a" is the number she wants so mum can take her to see it! Few weeks ago she went to a party. All the girls in princess gear except for our "little miss iron man" 3 Quote

Few weeks ago she went to a party. All the girls in princess gear except for our "little miss iron man" I was the other way around, everyone else in iron man outfits, me in my princess costume. Must admit I'm looking forward to star trek more than IM3, thought the last one was lacking something. Still love RDJ though. Quote
Shaun1982 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Ill definitely see this. Took me ages to see the second but enjoyed that too. Don't think it would be the same without RDJ though Quote
Drayvn Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Most definitely seeing this, just hoped to god that the fighting scenes are better done, need some serious robot ass kicking to be done! Quote
Shaun1982 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Has anyone seen The Wolverine trailer? Just watched it & thought it looked pretty good Quote
bronzee Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Sometimes an advantage being in a timezone ahead. Ironman starts a few days earlier over here. Edited March 28, 2013 by bronzee Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 For some reason its out on may 3rd in the USA. Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 18th April! you lucky sod! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1300854/releaseinfo?ref_=tt_dt_dt Quote
bronzee Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 18th April! you lucky sod! http://www.imdb.com/...o?ref_=tt_dt_dt That's not actually quite correct, unless there are pre-release events (that I haven't heard about, am in a movie club so generally hear about all pre-release). 24th is the date. BulletMagnet Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Watched it last night and was entertained. What did amuse me was... ...the shipping cranes at the final showdown. I work at the Port Of Felixstowe and noticed how they made those cranes look bigger by shrinking the Bromma Frames (yellow bit that picks up the containers). Also the bit where Tony and Rhodes take cover on the crane, that area leads nowhere as it just goes to the servicing platform for the powercable reel. Also the cranes used were the older generation ZPMC cranes, we have the same ones at the port and the latest ones are actually bigger. And nobody uses the wires to lift the containers like in the movie, wires are only used for out of gauge cargo that is loaded on flat racks, not regular 40" containers. So yeah had a bit of a chuckle about that Quote
Will370z Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Ben kingsley was brilliant, other than that the film was a bit meh....story line was all over the place Quote
