tony.r123 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Since fitting matt bronze 19"Rota's to my sunset, i'm considering changing the colour of my door handles. has anybody done this before? don't know whether to paint or perhaps a carbon wrap? ideas please Quote
smudgedon Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Carbon wrap is pants in my opinion, plus would more than likely come away with the amount of times you use the door handle People have definately had them painted, I'm going to be doing mine at some point Quote
KyleR Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I've seen them Plasti-dipped too, but I don't know how well that would stand the test of time being a high contact area. Quote
Sam Mcgoo Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Yeah loads of people wrap/paint the door handles. Have a look around, there is probably quite a few posts on it. Quote

Easy! Just dont drop the nuts into the door, and before u remove the drivers door handle completely look at how the door lock mechanism fits in for when u put it back together Quote

RS8055 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 As has already been said, problem with this is that as the door handles are highly used contact areas, you need to be careful not to end up with a below-par finish. Quote
