  1. Hi guys long time no see!!!!! looking for some advice please as we have been out the game on 350z's for a while. We have just been offered a 2008 350z GT which is supercharged!!!! We sold the car along time ago to a client and he now wants to sell the car. I am wondering do these cars still have a high value?? The car has a subtle body kit, the supercharger was fitted to a high standard and the car has done around 40,000 miles, I believe its running over 600bhp and it was clocked at Santa pod at around 182mph. Is the car still worth £15000 - £16000 to retail in your opinion?? I can add more details of the car if needed.... any advice would be appreciated many thanks Seb (Tradelink)
  2. I have a customer for a convertible Zed. Spec is either Grey, Black or favourite colour is Bronze. Has to be below 90k miles and needs to be a GT. If anyone has one for sale at the moment or is thinking about selling then please get in touch either through this forum or give us a call on 01923 260002. Thanks for looking!
  3. Nice car... Your number plate looks like Plonkerz!! Good luck with the sale.
  4. REJECT CAR. SEND LETTER OF EXPLANATION TELLING THE,COMPANY YOU ARE GIVING THEM 14 DAYS TO PAY FOR A FULL REFUND. IF THEY DO NOT RESPOND THE FILL OUT MONEY CLAIM ON LINE FORM AND TAKE THEM TO THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT WHERE THEY WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK, NO QUESTION. YOU CAN EVEN HIT THEM FOR THE INTEREST DEPENDING ON HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET TO COURT. I HAVE BEEN ON BOTH SIDES OF THIS AND IF YOU HAVE BEEN SOLD FAULTY GOODS, THE SELLER IS BANGED TO RIGHTS. HOW LONG AFTER THE DATE OF SALE DID YOU ENCOUNTER THE PROBLEM?

  9. what clutch do you have in it? Is it a standard one or has it been changed to single fly wheel maybe?
  10. Oh you bought my old car... I rolled this when it was a year old. Looks like they did a pretty good job of the repair though... Roof was all staved, car was shaped like a banana...Its definitely mine if it has a noisy release baring on the clutch and the boot struts are weak!??? :scare:
  11. take a look on our website and see if there is anything other than the zeds on there that takes your fancy! www.tradelinkcars.co.uk
  12. Those wheels would look really small on a zed... You would pay strong money for the designer label and then feel a bit deflated when you put them on... Unless you were going for the spaced out, stretched tyre, scraping on the floor look?
  13. Looks like you are enjoying your new purchase from Tradelink! ! Lovely roadster!!
  14. I think being real and being human is way more important than giving in to any kind of slander. Posting a point of view that goes some way to diminishing our reputation should be frowned upon at very least. I won't understand the mentality of people that do this especially as the op as a matter of etiquette should have made more of an effort to at very least say good bye and thanks for your time before he legged it... I also believe in karma and what goes around comes around. If I attract the type of people that appreciate the way I retort and defend myself after viewing this forum, rather than people that will have a dig at me behind a desk God knows where, then great. I would rather deal with reasonable people than not. In car sales it makes your life so much easier. We know our product very well, not meaning to blow my own trumpet, and with that comes a sense of confidence within our product. We will never be overbearing. We will never force a sale and if it means that someone a little bit sensitive thinks we are not a hot sales task force and we don't care then so be it. The cars are what they are and in essence they sell them selves. If you are on this forum then you know what you are after so it's pointless applying unnecessary BS. Like I have said before we try to be as no nonsense as possible.
  15. Not in my opinion. Some people need to get real sometimes. Its ridiculous how people can act and then try and post a review which is un-factual in every way. Unfortunately there is no way for people to tell truth or not. What amazes me more is the fact that this person has nothing to gain by this report?? It makes no sense. They were obviously just bored on the train probably regretting walking off from a perfectly decent 350z. Even just walking off without a thanks for your time is bad enough but then to get brave behind a computer screen is just laughable... The customer is always right... i totally agree and if i had sold the op a car and he had grievances with it or was unhappy about any aspect then i would do my best to remedy but Pe4nut is not my customer though is he?? He has booked his bus ticket to Birmingham to Mid West performance and i wish him all the best. He will probably need top get the bus and then a quick cab because he is on a housing estate i believe. A real little place compared to our little place!
  16. Need to get in the real world. Its not about that it's about standing up for myself. yes we are a business but we are a small group of human beings and professional or not if finger wagged with no reason then we are going to defend ourselves! every time!!
  17. no... Will you animal!!! No. he didn't hang around long enough!!
  18. Ah!!!! Mr and Mrs Runaway... run run run run run runaway... Here I am. Sorry, we have been busy, so i thought I would let all of you on here concerned voice your opinions... Suffice to say, I have a few things to say about this as you would quite imagine as I think people really need to get their facts straight. After you came over to Tradelink unannounced with no appointment booked, we made special provision for you, as we already had 3 groups of customers looking at 3 separate cars at once. We do work on a strictly by appointment basis as to not have too many people here at once. We are a firm of 3 so are limited to a certain extent and do actually put on all of our ads. "Viewing strictly by appointment" Nevertheless we are always happy to show cars, (this is our business to sell cars so would be mad to turn people with no appointment away!), and accommodate people wherever possible as many of the comments on this thread will point out. From the off you have said that we didn't want to pressurize you as i said when we first met... so why would I or Adey, who you dealt with (I will go back to him later) come outside and pester you if you were on the phone to your finance company?? (You didn't have the cash to purchase the car as you have mentioned, and were financing, which is fine, lots of people can't afford, or choose not to pay all in one go... these are as you say, large purchases. However, "cash buyer"?? Cash is made out of paper P34nut, and has the queens head on it!!). You make out like you were there dangling the cash in front of us, trying to get a deal, asking loads of questions and to be honest you weren't. You were left to your own devices with no pressure as is the way at Tradelink. You were taken for a test drive. You were shown the paperwork as requested, which was all fanned out in front of you. Not messy as you say. If any mess was made it was made by you looking through the paperwork!! I don't mean to offend when i say this, BUT then you asked what the mileage was? Firstly, its on the advert and you must have known what it was before you came down, and when you were searching on ebay, autotrader etc. And secondly you were just in the car a few moments before. Its on the dash!!! After you went outside it would be expected of you to come back inside, surely? You could see we were quite obviously busy. Had you done that we would have done our best to do a deal with you. I have no issues by which my staff treat customers and no one will be getting a "telling off"... I also don't feel the need to apologize to anybody because I feel we have done nothing wrong. We have plenty of satisfied customers and that is how we like it. What do you want a salesman to do??... Stare at what you are doing oddly and disturbingly, staring through you in to your soul, whilst looking at paperwork for the car? Or maybe stalk you, coming outside and chase you and try and drag you back inside to do a deal? or maybe you would like him to be in your face and cocky. Or, as we like it, have a laid back knowledgeable approach with no pressure. We hold ourselves accountable for any wrong doing but checking your emails whilst a customer is sifting through some paperwork is not offensive in my book. Adey is an excellent worker, has been working for me for over a year now and is very personable. he has a good knowledge on cars and is just the way i like him. He is not and has never been rude to a single soul whilst working here or at his previous job. If you want to buy a car with no nonsense come and see us... if you want a car sales restraining order go to junction 17 and if you want a cuddle ask your Mrs. I wish you good luck in life.
  19. I have a theory... They all belong to a 23 year old glamour model who has just lost her driving licence for speeding with no top on... She is unable to drive at the moment but has just placed an ad in the paper for a full time valeter/f£ck buddy...??? (Company car included)
  20. We have a few Cooper s on our site. Good solid little cars but people are right to say check the pumps because before you know it you will cook it. Electric power steering pumps too. Very common issue
