  4. Split. Join the Facebook page "nissan zed"
  5. Thanks split!!! Pick up date of next Wednesday would be reasonable but can probably be done and ready before that. I'll phone you today anyway.
  6. NeilMH thanks for your comments. I was going to suggest such a day and I welcome feedback. I am not a flash in the pan merchant and hope to build a good relationship with the members of owners club if possible.
  7. Superstu i didn't mean to offend... I was trying to make a point badly. I don't hate IT personel that much. Sorry. All forgiven if you go sideways...
  8. Docwra. Hello. Finally some kind of sense... I have nothing for under the 5k mark but am picking up blue fairlady tomorrow, 80k, big brake kit, coilovers, and once returned safely to Kings Langley a lovely set of genuine 18" Rota alloys in white. It will be 5990 on the website and will be very reasonable at that money... Failing that I have a gunmetal fairlady done 92k, st spec, brembos, leather but no heated seats, everything else though. gunmetal grey. black asuko racing 18" lowered on tein springs, full stainless steel exhaust, aux belts, clutch and flywheel just done. 5990 aswell. If anyone is interested check facebook "nissan zed" for all new arrivals or the website tradelinkcars.co.uk Greg.
  9. I CAN TAKE BANTER!!!!!!!!!!! Being called "retarded" is slightly rude and an "idiot" when you have no grounds for that is also particularly unpleasant... OK I get it... You hate traders or have little to no time for them because quite simply you are probably jealous... In life, you can quite easily slate something you don't know about. Half the people on here are probably IT boffins that have never even had their zed sideways!!!!!!! They would long to do my job for a living. Taking my time looking, picking up a 350z for a good price, do a few bits to it. (not change the tyres tho when there is no need), advertise it, and then sell the car for a modest, un-greedy profit. The customer is getting a nice car at a nice price and i';m paying off my mortgage. Wheres the crime?? If the people i'm buying from don't begrudge it, then neither should you!!!!! And for anyone that says ooohhh bad attitude. I think you will find i am just sticking up for myself. Simple as that. Throwing my toys out of the pram would be very easy but i will now throw the gauntlet down... If anyone is on the owners club and has actually bought a car off me then please come forward. That is if you're not worried about what your zed buddies might say... Be honest. The feedback would be greatly appreciated. Ha imagine if Seb had started the thread. Funny stuff.
  10. You are telling me that if I put tyres on a car that aren't to manufacturers standard its illegal?? No lights on the dash. No advisories on mot. No problems with abs or traction control... so... Don't think so... You are also saying here that euro look cars and modified cars, not necessarily 350z, are all running exactly the right size tyre diameter?? Rubbish!!!! Do you know how much it would affect top speed, speedo reading etc? I doubt it. Just an excuse I feel to slate me and show off your knowledge of rolling diameters. If that car was slammed on coil overs and rolling on those tyres it would look awesome and you ALL know it!!!!!
  11. The tyres are not that much of a big deal chaps! If you go to the website and click on 350z section you will see the side pic of the car. The car was fitted with 25mm spacers and the tyres were stretched. Maybe the pic does not do the car justice from the side!
  12. So i see Anthony. That email slipped through the net!! Dave there is no pleasing some people... Try living with my mrs.
  13. yeah yeah... i am just frustrated with the lot of you. i am trying here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. We sold the car within a week and the customer was very happy with his purchase. 35 profile or not. The car also had an inch thick of paperwork of invoices and receipts since its import and had obviously been maintained to a high standard by its middle aged owners. Not as you say. I am shocked at the hostility to which you guys on the forum treat traders with. Its very unfair and i would like to respond to the comment to which someone made about bad attitude with regard to hearing the exhaust note over the phone?? Not your average request and pretty pointless to do so because of the distortion over the phone, but none the less, Seb my business partner took the call and was driving the car in question at the time. He stopped the car and took pictures of the rear of the vehicle and immediately emailed to the caller, as requested. Then he had two further calls regarding the "exhaust note" from the same caller. He was still driving the car and slowed down and let the caller hear the engine whilst accelerating!! (i'll probably have another witch hunt now for him driving whilst on the phone)... anyway Seb then stopped and revved the engine for the caller, to which he said thank you very much and we NEVER heard back again... Customer service is not a thing of the past here at tradelink and i would urge members of this owners club to come and see us and see for yourselves what kind of outfit we run. We have been selling 350zs for over 3 years as they have got increasingly more affordable. We specialise in affordable performance and like it or not we are going to sell 350zs for as long as they remain worth while for us to do so. Of course we buy for one price and sell for more... Its the way of the world. We are being made out to be 350z rapists and this too is totally unfair. Some vehicles we actually bring back from CHAV-DOME and put back to standard, some we subtly modify, all for the greater good!!!!!!!!!!!! You will probably find that at some point some of the cars that you are driving have been sold by us! They are great cars and tremendous fun in both standard and modified form. We are motor traders and fall victim to a very cruel stereotype which really is not us...
  15. nothing is wrong with a 35 profile, especially with rays wheels and 25mm spacers i think it looks good!!!!
  16. There is also a white 350z still on our website which IS and WAS advertised as a cat c.(it is now sold) If the ad was read properly then it would have been discovered before the phone call It is also an 05 UK gt, professionally painted in white and covered 48k genuine miles. The advertised price of 5990 was very reasonable for such a car and it remains on our website to gather interest for another 1 we are having made for us, as white ones seem to be very popular. Again not a crime but there seems to me to be an air of let get tradelink today!!!!!!!!!
  17. HOLY JESUS!!!!!!! First of all let me say that none of us at Tradelink smoke!! We are two very health conscious individuals and attend the gym more than 4-5 times per week. We would also never give someone the keys to a vehicle and let them test drive the car on their own, because they are not insured to do so. The vehicle in question, that someone has looked at, (from locally), that was damaged repaired was advertised as so. CAT C, repaired, "suitable for parts or track use". The car in question was also for sale for less that 4k pounds. A cheap donor vehicle or basis for a track car. Also a UK GT model?? We have a lot of 350z stock turnover and have never had a complaint yet. We have a lot of stock on our website and are in the motor trade so it is inevitable that we will look on all the websites for decent examples and try to sell on!! This is our living and if you went to work, (everyone on here surely does)??? you would not expect to work for free!! Fortunately we always accept criticism and don't see it as an insult. There is such a thing as constructive criticism and that is appreciated. We aren't able to buy from we buy any car as their vehicles are sent to the larger BCA auctions across the UK so this is FACTUALLY WRONG and we pride ourselves on not buying from them. 90% of the cars we buy come from private individuals and the rest from known contacts within the motor trade. We are able to look at the service history, drive the car and look over mechanically before purchase. All that said, we love 350zs and Fairlady imports and wish to be a part of the owners club. We are not looking to sell on here and for us it serves as a good tool as to what enthusiasts are currently interested in. If anyone was to buy a car from us, they can be inspected by Japex just down the road. They do some of our servicing work and we have a longstanding relationship with them. Greg - Tradelink. (myfairlady).
