parello9 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Where did you get that z for the rear badge i want one? The same as the badges that are on the front wings, have placed one front and back instead of the Z/oem burgers, front one is countersunk in the bumper that's such a good idea! your idea? Quote
thetranquilbass Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 Haven't seen it done before although haven't searched that hard but would like to consider it was my own idea Quote
Sam Mcgoo Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Looks lovely. I'm another one that didn't like the V3 until I saw this, think its the colour, just suits it. (just don't get the rear!) Looking forward to seeing it with the wheels on. Quote

Not sure, i'll double check whether any filling was required when collecting tomorrow Quote
thetranquilbass Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 Quick photo of one of the alloys 1 Quote
LRF4N Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Nice finish on the wheels... So glad you didn't go black. Jay take notes Quote
thetranquilbass Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 First pic of the finished article, this is from the body shop. Getting collected in 30-40 minutes to collect the car so will follow up with more shots from my side later on today 2 Quote
Neilp Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Love the kit but still unsure of the eyelids tbh Quote
Jay Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Looks ace mate! Would you consider some wheel spacers to really kick the wheels out of the arches? Quote
GIXXERUK Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Looks ace mate! Would you consider some wheel spacers to really kick the wheels out of the arches? +1 definitely give a better stance Quote
DoogyRev Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Looks stunning . . . although I am with Neil on the eye lids Quote
Bems Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Was & still is my favourite zed on the forum. Looks fantastic but I'm another that would consider removing the eye lids. Think a duckbill style rear spoiler would Finnish that off perfectly Quote
pjf1985 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 That looks gorgeous mate, lovely colour! I like the lids. One of the nicest on here IMO. Bet you're chuffed with it Quote
thetranquilbass Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 Looks ace mate! Would you consider some wheel spacers to really kick the wheels out of the arches? Have been thinking about putting 10mm spacers all round as wheels are currently ET29 all round Love the kit but still unsure of the eyelids tbh As for the lids, I like them but have only been attached with 3M tape such that if the novelty wears off they will come off. First impression is they've done a good job, only thing am undecided on is the wheels as not quite what I was looking for but am going to live with it for a couple of weeks and see how I feel after that, but they've said they'll redo them if I decide thats what I want. Shall be heading out shortly with the camera and will post some pics up later on. Quote
LRF4N Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Only one thing that I'm not sure about mate. Not a criticism of your choices but the v3 bumper has a slightly too long nose for my liking. Several other bumpers are the same Otherwise it's stunning Quote
LRF4N Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I think the eyelids make it look longer the more I look at it. Usually I like eyelids but I think they don't flow with the bumper. I'm with Neil on this one Quote
glrnet Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 That looks cracking, can't wait to see your photos, the lids aren't for me but it's your car, think 10mm spacers will just about set it off, love the wheel colour too. Quote
