Wenman Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I've tried to search for any info on mileage for the 350z. How many miles does your car currently have? And what is considered too much for the VQ35. Quote
Dblock Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 A few of us are on near past 100k if treated properly maybe 150k or more? Quote
ph 7 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 04 with just under 175K on the clock It is all about how it has been looked after. Quote
Wenman Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 Good to hear there are a few past the 100k mark. I did expect that would be the case Quote
Bockaaarck Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 2003 JDM, just hit 100,007 miles this Sunday Quote
glrnet Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Good to hear there are a few past the 100k mark. I did expect that would be the case SMD is on holiday but I'm sure he won't mind me telling you his "old girl" has done 100k plus, 54 plate I think Quote
DannyBoy Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 '53 plate with 57K If you look at contamporary engines of the same type and build quality I think we could be seeing even more miles than some seem to expect out of the engines at least. The Toyota V8s in the Lexus LS barges have gone beyond 400k without a rebuild or anything DB Quote
Shinjuku Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Absolutely. Discounting heavily modified cars and assuming regular maintenance 200k should be fine on most modern understressed engines. The rest of the car will be worth peanuts by then and most of the other moving parts will be shot but engine wise it should not be am issue. Quote
soimafreak Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 56 plate, 83k miles (50k in 2 years ) New engine now though, only 43k EDIT: - Worth mentioning my previous engine was fine it just had me looking after it and I forgot to check the oil Quote
patwudz Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 04 plate 83k miles still sweet as a nut. Ensure regular good quality oil changes & enjoy the ride, Quote
CrustyCrab Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 '03 42k +1 I'm making up for the lack of use by the previous owners though Quote
jaffers Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 04 with just under 175K on the clock It is all about how it has been looked after. That's incredible!! Quote
bronzee Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 If you read the forums in the US, there are a number of 350's over there with 200k miles plus on the odometre. Quote
Ewan27 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 My 05 GT4 has less than 20K miles on the clock Quote
JoshThePonce Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 53 JDM nearing 79k, runs sweet as a nut Quote
