stanzed Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 The whole look of the car is sooo Love it!! Quote
LRF4N Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Red calipers usually go well with any colour. But I agree with cj think they might clash with turquoise? Not sure which other colour would go? The turquoise brembos on page 1 looked good if you don't want a contrast Quote
S1 HNK Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I'd match the calipers turquoise. I think red might look a bit tacky What brand of vinyl is that colour from? Quote
Ricey Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Thanks guys, can't wait for Taras from RT-Peformance to come back from holiday So you're saying blue calippers.... Got to be blue:) +1 Quote
LRF4N Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Or wait til the wrap is finished then the photoshop pros on here could help out. Purple might work? Bur blue is the safe option I think Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted August 27, 2012 Author Posted August 27, 2012 Want some contrast with the blue and black I think red will do that just nicely P.S TAAAAAARAAAAAAAAAAAS AREEEEE YOUUUUU BAAAAAAAAAAACKKKK??? Quote
Stew Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 The shade looks amazing and the red calipers work well. Would look ace in metallic / pearl rather than Matt though. Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 Will enquire further, but don't think it is available in metallic... Quote
spursmaddave Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Nice colour Adrian, obviously won't have that depth of shine in your photoshop which is a shame as it looks great And colour coded brake calipers, why have a contrast just for the sake of a contrast. I think 2 colours on a car works but 3 colours I am not so sure.... That shade of blue + black = That shade of blue + black + red = meh Quote
Wasso Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Don't forget Dave is a fussy git Although I agree it needs to shine. See what happens and if your happy with the look go for it. I could always try and polish it for you Quote

LRF4N Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Looks much cleaner, love it Red was clashing too much for me Photoshop purple to see how it looks Quote
JRVanillaBear Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 You could always go White Calipers? Never see that ... Don't know how dirty they would get but it would deffo be different! Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 Managed to change the disks to DBA T3 4000 on Saturday. Many thanks to ZMANALEX, as usual, super ultra mega service from Alex, quick delivery, good price and lots of free advice As for the glossy turquoise, 3M and Hexis only do this in matte. The only one left is Avery but heard the quality is crap Will stick to matte. Quote
glrnet Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I thought they only made sticky labels, maybe that's why it's crap Nice discs mate As for the glossy turquoise, 3M and Hexis only do this in matte. The only one left is Avery but heard the quality is crap Will stick to matte. Quote
