smudgedon Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Just wondering what people's recommendations are for a replacement strut brace? Quote
smudgedon Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 A big shiney one ....... Yep Any of the ones on eBay any good? Quote
Ian Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 None of them do anything that standard one doesn't do. They are all purely for looks. Quote

Wasso Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 http://www.370z-uk.net/forum/viewtopic. ... 98&start=0 I've just completed one so once the replacement is sent down I can start on one for you? Quote

SteveRS Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Got my original powder coated Azure Blue for less than £60.00 A bit off topic, but where did you get your strut brace powder coated? Quote
smudgedon Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 I'll be getting mine polished and the mounts done in purple Quote
Sized Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 GT-Spec also looks pretty tasty Similar design to the Summit brace mentioned by Steve, I believe, but different colour mounts Quote
Dblock Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I'll be getting mine polished and the mounts done in purple Sounds good Quote

Ricey Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Just make sure you get Wasso to do it or for the love of God don't use a wire wheel drill bit! Quote
4RE Leather Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 None of them do anything that standard one doesn't do. They are all purely for looks. Honestly? So just a cheapish shiney one would be fine? Send it to Wasso Jordan:) Quote
smudgedon Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 So should I just send my normal one to wasso? Quote
Flex Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 If theres nothing special why not get a cheap ebay one? Blue Orange Black The shipping is way more than the product, wowzer! Quote
Wasso Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 You can do one of two things. Wait for the next one to be returned to me, I polish and paint and send to you. You swap and send your old one to me. Or Send me your one, I paint and polish and return to you. Option one means you're riding with a strut, option two is of course without. Without a strut isn't an issue unless you fancy hitting some serious wisties. If you're interested send me a pm with what you're looking for colour wise, and if you'd like one done etc. Quote
4RE Leather Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 So should I just send my normal one to wasso? Jordan just PM Wasso (Ian) and deal direct. No need to put it all up here lol. Yes just take it off and post it to him. The car will handle fine:) Quote
