Ebized Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 some more pics..... Some of the members Zeds Why don't all electric cars look like this It looks so small with one of the drivers - Marino Franchitti ground effects, that they say work well GT3 GTR LMP prototype JukeR Boot has box of trickery and also part of the exhuast I gather under the boxed in area Furthest visitors? Zugara/Doogyrev/SwanageDave & son starting their way home. Blue was the most popular 370 colour there today - not sure Paul appreciated that though but like everyone says it does look so much better in the flesh helped by that rare item - the sun
Will370z Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Great pics there clown, reLly good quality. really looking forward to seeing the shots you will be doing in wales.
AK350Z Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Good pics all, looks like you had a great day for it Was there any interesting conversations with Nissan?
Clown Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Great pics there clown, reLly good quality. really looking forward to seeing the shots you will be doing in wales. If I make it! I have a few plans for Wales - I want to do some 'action' shots so I'll need to hitch a ride with someone. I want to do more 'people' shots too, just fly-on-the-wall pictures of people mingling and stuff. The static car + scenery shots are not even a plan, that's a certainty
twobears Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Clown, is the young lad in your photos the driver who was taken on after winning the competition as the most successful gamer?
Clown Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Indeed he is - Jann Mardenborough, one of three drivers taken on after the GT Academy. The guy sitting on the Deltawing is the driver, Marino Franchitti. Both thoroughly nice people, although they were working they were pretty friendly even after talking about the same things over and over.
twobears Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Yay, thought I recognised him He seemed nice in the interview that I read but it's good to know that he is a nice lad in real life and the other driver too. Great photos by the way. I've got myself a DLSR but still learning how to use it properly
Clown Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I found I learnt best by actually using the thing. It's with me everywhere I go so eventually you get to understand what everything does! I left mine in automatic modes for a few months and learnt what settings the camera thought I should use and then I took it from there
twobears Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I'm doing the same, keeping it on automatic and seeing what the camera advises. I've taken some shots of horses that I'm pleased with and had them made into canvasses. I hope to get a few good car ones at Harewood too, fingers crossed Not sure that I'll be brave enough to post them on the forum though!
bronzee Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Wow, some neat pics there. Juke R looks really cool in the matt'ish paint, but looks like it scratches really badly judging by those back guards.
