Ah..... actually the coolest thing was hearing stuff like Tin Soldier, Pictures of Matchstick Men, Sunshine of your Love, Baba O'Riley, Fortunate Son, etc, etc, etc, for the first time.... and many more on little transistor radios fading in and out all the time.
