Wasso Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Courtesy of SpursMadDave and his recent for sale items and now the car has been painted, thought it was time to dress the back end. It's totally de-badged but thought a bit of Tommy K to spruce the back end. I originally wanted red, but want to trial something different. Opinions please..... Quote
DoogyRev Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I like that Its good to be different ..... Not keen on the look of the Red ones Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Looks good Ian, I'm a big fan of the red ones too as they look good with the Led rears Quote
James B Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Never understood the appeal of putting another cars branding on. It's not quite as bad as having a Ferrari key ring but just as pointless IMHO. Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 It's not another cars branding, tommy k designed parts for the zed including the rear badge Quote
Madmarky Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 looks cheap imo +1 get a real one the red will blend in with the lights and should look Quote
coldel Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Not liking it actually, thought I would but seems too erm 'bubbly' cant describe it - too much chrome colour for my liking Quote
jollyranchers Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 chavtastic im afraid , really cheapens the back end , would look better completely debadged each to their own tho , if you like it thats all that matters Quote
Wasso Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Okay thanks guys for the honest opinions. My verdict, I like it, but not massively drooling over it. It's different for sure and frankly I wanted the red similar to Busters. More than happy for any other viewers to poll and pass comment. I'm guessing it's a bit marmite. I've not fixed it to the car as yet, so it maybe up for sale next week Quote
buster Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 i d have to agree with you wasso on the colour choice against your blue.red would work imo really well if it was the same design as mine. Quote
Will370z Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I'll be honest, not a fan im afraid, sorry Quote
spursmaddave Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 All about what you think Ian not anybody else.... Quote
spursmaddave Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I personally dont like debadged cars each to their own and all that... I think a red one would look stupid on a blue car also Quote
Beavis Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I personally dont like debadged cars each to their own and all that... +1 I never understand the point of if i am honest I mean you wouldn't debadge a Rolex or an expensive designer brand of sunglass's not that the zed is in that category but it not a BMW where you have multiple engine size's and pretend you have a 1.8l engine but really have a 3.5l Quote
coldel Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Debadged mine because, well I just thought it looked better The Nissan burger is a pretty dour badge, even the Z ones I dont like too much. Can't describe why I did it, just, for me, looks better Quote
spursmaddave Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Each to their own Col If we all liked the sane thing we would all be driving the same car.... hang on thats not a good example Quote
dragon Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Its personal choice mate, do what's good for you!! Quote
rtbiscuit Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 having seen these in the flesh, photos don't flatter them, they look alot better in the flesh Quote
LRF4N Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I personally dont like debadged cars each to their own and all that... I think a red one would look stupid on a blue car also +1 I had a blue/red theme on mine but I think a red k would clash a bit for some reason. Much prefer the black, looks good Quote
coldel Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Each to their own Col If we all liked the sane thing we would all be driving the same car.... hang on thats not a good example Aye, I made up my own rear badge! Bought a chrome 350Z sprayed the numbers and left the Z chrome to try highlight the point that its a Z Maybe I should get some crazy font style stick on numbers and letters and make up my own 350Z on the back Quote
spursmaddave Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Glrnet has made some funky silver cf backed badges for his car... Quote
