Doing some simple math today while visiting my online banking :scare: I realised how much I've spent on modding the car in such a short period! And I was considering photography an expensive hobby with such expensive DSLR bodies and lens... I was so wrong

Here my list from March to early May (by the time that all mods will be in place):

1. JWT Popcharger = £120

2. Motordyne Plenum spacer = £195

3. D1 throttle controller = £143

4. Amuse R1 Titanium Exhaust = £1350

5. Berk HFC = £380

6. Nismo Body Kit + Spoiler + Spraying = £2155

7. Ferrodo DS2500 = £170

8. AMS Pulleys = £190

9. Folding Mirrors = £30

10. Black Rays Alloys = £800

11. UpRev Remap = £402

12. MotorDyne XYZ Pipe = £370

13. Exedy clutch + Fly Wheel + Fitting = £950

14. B&M short shifter = £140

15. Nismo GT Titanium Gear Knob = £85

16. Respraying Rear bumper = £200

17. Respraying in black door handles = £75

18. Eibach 25mm/20mm spacers = £200

-----------------------------------------------

Mods = £7955

Car original cost = £9500

==================================

TOTAL = £17455

Other possible mods:

1. Eibach lowering springs = ?

2. FlyEye on front and rear lights = ?

3. Tinting = ?

4. DBA 5000 XS rotors = ?

5. Carbon fiber interior kit = ?

6. Nismo Pilars = ?

7. Interior LED lights = ?

8. Rear LED lights = ?

If I was to sell the car today, without breaking it to pieces and returning it to standard how much is it likely to get back?

I set myself a budget of 3k and actually spent approx 3.5k...its amazing how quickly it all mounts up :D . I've got a few more things on my to do list which shouldn't be any more than another 1k.

Two black aluminum tax disc holders = £40

Black front and back badges = £45

Stubby aerial = £10

iPhone holder = £10

Cassette to iPhone adapter = £15

.

.

.

Rear Axle Click fix = £300

New clutch and flywheel to come = £600

Replacement front bumper to come = £150 circa?

New tyres on the rear = £200

The fixes are far outweighing the mods at the moment! :surrender:

Is this the true cost or the cost the missus thinks it is? ;) Can't really remember the costs of everything

Mods I've still got on the car:

Wheels £1200

Plenum spacer ~£200

Lowering springs ~£100 + fitting

Leather trimmed interior £500

ACT clutch and flywheel £600 + fitting

Stillen engine damper ~£100 (fwiw)

Mods I've bought and now taken off:

Veilside V1 body kit £400 + £600 fitting

Carbon fibre engine cover ~£30

Carbon fibre interior kit £80

Carbon fibre dial cover £20

Pipercross CAI ~£120

K1 exhaust ~£350

Not too bad compared to some :) Lot of wasted money though. . .

Z - £10 on wiper blades although only had it since Jan '11. i know what its like to spend ££££££££ on mods and to ask people what they have spend could lead them to add it all up, this leads to mental breakdowns and a whole loss of what is real and what is not!
