This also removes one of the biggest ego's from the dressing room which can only be a good thing, and being replaced by someone who is actually really hungry to be at the world cup. He may of had a good season at Spurs but has he really been tested against the top stikers in the world? Not saying Rio would have been fit for the job either after a shambles of a season at Old Trafford but he has the experience of previous seasons to go on which in world tournaments you really need. Carra will be a more than suitable replacement, even if he's not had the best of years either. Anyone know who the vice captain is now? Lampard? Rooney?
