I hate to say this but this is heading for the green room due to rubbish spam. It's meant to be a new car thread.

I'm all for a laugh and joke but this is getting a bit silly.....

Just keep the lube talk for the green room / facebook / msn.

Although if the cabin on the stook is that tight for you then you might need to lube up to get in it!

very true

can't believe i have to wait till wednesday evening

From a low mileage 06 zed to a higher mileage 02 S2K???

you always said mileage didn't matter if it was a good car with good history.

mate i did it partly for the money as well.

i have a change in car and 4k in my pocket

"better" thats subjective,

newer, yes, less mileage, yes

i could have got a newer one but i prefer the AP1 version to the AP2

my road tax is now halved, my insurance is the same. mods are cheaper than on the zed.

the fuel economy is better, i now have a convertible which i missed.

like most of my cars it will probably last about 18- 24 months before i change again. nothing else i would have swapped the zed for. maybe apart from something with a V8 and i'm not in a position to feed one of those with fuel

one thing about the S in black is that the paint is a little swirly and a bit too masculine for the car, so one of my first jobs is going to be giving it a really good clean, i'll claybar it, will need to polish it; am thinking using the megs polish i have, but wonder if i will need something better. and then a good coat of wax.

i'm currently using DoDo juice supernatural on my silver car, but its just run out. would appreciate some recommendations for wax for a black car. wonder if there is something better for black cars?

My black Zed was a swirlfest when i got it, I can recommend Bilthamber Autobalm....worked for me ;)

Enjoy the new ride :D
