Hi Guys,

I was driving home from work today, pulled up in the left hand lane at the traffic lights on a nice dual carriage way, looked in the mirror and saw another Zed approaching, I was waiting for him to pull up in the right hand lane for a little fun, but no, he pulled up behind me and then followed me in the left hand lane....

Question...

Was he scared his driving wasn't up to mine? Shy? Boring? Old? I have no idea!!

And it also got me thinking, do any other Zed drivers give a wave when they see other 350's on the road??

Just curious....

Cheers

Ha ha, I'll have a sneaky look through the curtains!!

I'm glad it's not just me then, if you ever see a guy in a gun-metal grey 350 waving madly as you pass then it could well be me!!!

Ha ha, I'll take that advice on board then, I guess that's why I'm a newbie and you're all veterans!!

I'll make sure I give the Zed's a polite nod before beating everything else!

always give a wave, and most of the times get one back. Passed a lady in here new soft top one on Saturday in the centre of altrincham. Gave a wave and got one back.

I'll wave at anything and everything that's decent. Almost all softtops will get a wave if they have the roof down, anything British and sporty (think TVRs, Caterhams and Lotuses), even a Clio 172/182/197/ will get a wave if the driver looks like he's out for a bit of fun and not a complete chav. Got and gave a decent nod from a Z4M coupe the other day on the A120, made my day that did.

I'll wave and flash lights at a zed. I wouldn't of raced you either though. Why race (on public roads anyway) something that is the same?

i saw a blue coupe the other afternoon and thought it was sally, it got right up behind me, i waved and nothing, she sat behind , me all the way with a stone walled expression on her face. it wasn't sally, but this lady was no fun

Less of the old, only chavs in Corsa's try to race Zeds other Zed owners just wave.

Reekie you'll find after you've been to a few meets, Zeds like to convoy, they also look very sharp in a convoy. :D

I had a mini convoy today with another azure. Mine was gleeming and his was dirty. I need to throw a tube of Autosol his direction ASAP!

Maybe he was just driving from A-B and couldn't care what else was on the road (in terms of what types of cars). When I'm driving home its only a short journey thus all i am thinking about is getting home not trying to race someone if i get a chance.

Yes its good to go and have a nice safe spirited drive but street racing is a no no IMO
