  5. Hi Guys, I recently bought a second hand Head Unit due to mine dying and not loading any CD's saying Push Eject and not opening the cd insert slot. Radio and Tape worked fine just CD buggered with no response. I have now got a problem with the second unit and it looks like it requires a code or something stating "Wait then Secure" but doesnt give you anyway to enter a code??? I believe the code is in the serial number somewhere but what numbers do I use? Is it the last 4digits etc, etc...and does it have to be programmed by the main dealer? Thanks for any help.

  12. Has Anyone restored the Door trims with the window Controls? As mine are scratched and looking rather tired.... Is there a step by step guide on here?
  13. Hi Waltzinblack This is exactly the same problem what I had! Changed the Spark Plugs, Most of the sensors and nothing! Finally Changed the Flywheel with a Single Mass Lightened Jobby and hey presto.....All lights off and driving like the batmobile The Flywheel is a bit noisey though.....

  15. LOL soz NeilP teh make of the cluth is F1 Racing Stage 1 Clutch kit
  16. Yeah I know Dblock, but the cluth is virtually brand new! it has probably done 200miles if that? plus it is a stage 1 or 2 F1 race clutch. Not sure if the dodgy Flywheel damaged it n anyway i will get the car down to Mr clutch have them test it
  17. Ash Cheers Doc! Yeah I was prepared to try everything after reading threads of Sensors going and triggering random codes?? What problem have you got?
  18. Engine light and Traction lights now off Yaaaaayy!! Turned out to be the flywheel! Once changed to a Lighter SMF replacement it worked and took off the Engine Cell! i do think the clutch maybe slipping a lil as the acceleration and rev slightly out i think and a lil noisey at low revs but this may just be the new flywheel as i have been told they are a lot noisier then the DMF. The blasted Traction lights turned out to be a dodgy wire can you believe it??? The last few months have been driving me absolutely barmy , to be sorted out in under 3 hours??? Thanks to all the guys who helped me out over the last few months, much appreciated really
  19. Ok Zugara makes sense I will take it off and get it diagnosed if there is a new code then it works if there is no new code and still shows as P0335 crank position sensor then may be causing my issue?
  20. Hi another quicky, If the driverside Camsensor is disconnected or taken off the car, should the car be running as normal or would it cause the car to run poorly or not start at all? As mine has been taken off the car and still starts and drives, but disconnected the pasengerside and it wouldnt fire up gave up after 5 secs!! surely it should affect the car in the same way on the driverside?
  21. Cheers Sam, do the grey plugs have to correspond to that formation? as i dont think mine do???
  22. That's what I'm now thinking as I took the sensor out and car starts and drives like normal with the sensor not even on the car? apart from the rough running that my car has! Surely if the sensor is off the car it should run even worse? Haven't checked them codes as I get P0335 crank position sensor. This has been changed still got my problems???could a dodgy cam sensor throw different codes and point to something else?
  23. More investigation work! I love tinkering!!...... I have just noticed when I disconnect the passengerside cam sensor! The car won't start......but when I start the car with the driverside cam sensor disconnected it starts and drives like normal (well in its currently poor running state? Is this normal? It was also covered In oil is this right too? Shouldn't the car start with either one of these sensors disconnected or is it normal? Cheers
