Davy Lewis Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Hi guys, I'm looking for a tuned 350Z for a cover feature in Redline Magazine – ideally something with engine work, after market wheels and a few other bits. If anyone is interested, drop me a line to davy@futurenet.com In case you've not seen Redline for a while, we've taken a new direction and are focussed on performance tuning, not modifying. We're all about enhancing the dynamics of a car, rather than making it look pretty. We have a large Japanese content and are big fans of the 350Z! I'm also keen to get the club side of things going, so if you have any meets planned, let me know and I'll try and get something in the mag, or on our website. Cheers Davy Lewis, Editor Quote
jerry3167 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Hi Davey, Welcome to the club!! Nice to hear from a Non-Jap mag!! There will be a few guys along shortly who will fulfill your criteria for a feature car! You may be interested in a ACE CAFE 350Z day I have planned for October!! Jerry Quote
ARphotographs Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 You have a PM Davey! and welcome, there are some good ones up this way! Quote
H5 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Welcome Davey. There are a couple in Scotland with turbo / NOS but they are also heavily modded. Albeit one that is modded purely for making it go silly fast! I am sure you'll have some good ones to choose from Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Welcome to the forum, Davy, good to see you on board… The members won’t let you down, lots of stunning Zeds to choose from… Quote

IanS16 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Davy, I have organised a dyno day on Saturday in Solihull if you fancy coming along Should be about 10 cars there. Should be exactly what you are after Quote
H5 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Ooh, Ian, your car has had all it's ESR engine mods done - would be a classy cover car. Good to see the club's members jumping at the chance to get the name out there Quote
IanS16 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I've emailed him, would be happy to represent the club but I think maybe ZMANALEX would be a better choice. Anyway, should I get a response I'll let you all know Quote
martinmac Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Well done bud If you need any info let me know Quote

Rob_Quads Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Hey Davy, Good to see Redline have moved on with the rest of us (that said still enjoyed the other size of modding with the old Saxos) ZMANALEX would be my call from the 350s around here. Rob Quote

Rob_Quads Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I've changed my mind... it should be Muddys car (partly as it has my old sub boxes ) Quote
Stew Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I think people are missing the point that the feature would be on carts that have been improved dynamically. A lot of the cars being suggested would be great in a feature but they don't fill the brief requested in my opinion. There are many people on here that are taking a dynamic approach to modifying now. I agree. From the sounds of it it's not the bodykit that will get it there, it's stuff to improve the dynamics of the car. Quote
H5 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Either that or NA work around intake, plenum etc. as there isn't much else to do! Quote
Chris`I Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Either that or NA work around intake, plenum etc. as there isn't much else to do! Dont forget, its not just engine mods for the dynamics of the car. We should be looking at cars with suspension (coil overs) and big brake kits. Arguably they add more to the car than adding more power There is quite a lot more you can do to an NA car, just none have done it in this country AFAIK. Adam is a prime example of how NA can be done Quote
