marzman Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Who doesn't love a look at a nice garage? Let's see what you're working with... Here's mine. I fitted the Swisstrax flooring last week. Debating whether to paint the walls black now to carry on with the theme. One for spring when the weather warms up... 6 Quote

Keith D Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) My garage is a bit of a building site, I'm extending it from a double to a triple to make rook for another project - something rusty that needs a bare shell rebuild I do like an obnoxiously large tool box maxed out with shadow foam OCD though 🤣 Edited November 3 by Keith D 3 Quote
Stutopia Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I was feeling pretty good about acquiring my first ever garage space, until I saw this thread You've got some great spaces there lads! 1 Quote

Don't feel bad, I have way too much crap in my garage.... apart from the big fighter jet grey thing in the middle (although I do love my 2 stage impeller snow blower and my 2 jet washers) 🤣 13 years ago when we moved here I did not even own a single screwdriver ..... time flies.... so does the accrual of things 😂 Soon be time to wrap the stang for the winter ....... booooooooooooooo 3 Quote

I've been googling all different kinds only thing thats put me off is pricing. I'm looking somewhere between 800 to a grand for slightly bigger then normal single garage which seems steep to me. Can I ask what yours cost? Quote

They do unbranded alternatives on eBay of what is probably the same stuff, but maybe for 70% of the cost. What swung it for me ultimately though is i've been planning to epoxy my floor for the last 5 years and i'm just never going to get round to it... so paying slightly more for something that i could implement in just a few hours was worth it to me. What do i think of it... it's not as sturdy as i thought it'd be... there's a slight clicky noise when you walk on it. Impressed at how clean it seems to stay though, with all the dirt just falling through the gaps! Quote
marzman Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 @DoogyRev Nice big space there. You need some Mustang merch to make the most of it whilst you've got it! @Keith D Quality looking set of tools there bud! @Stutopia Decent space mate, nice and tidy too. 😎 1 Quote
heterofrogs1 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 So I guess garage envy is a thing 😆 Years ago now I worked as a designer for a company that did garage fit-outs. Stuff like: wall storage, PVC tile flooring & ceiling, tool cabinets, lighting etc would easily fetch for £20k+. They looked great, but I could never justify spending THAT much on a garage. Found some renders & couple of install photos 5 Quote
Woodzman Posted Saturday at 17:46 Posted Saturday at 17:46 Ok, I'll offer this as a slight contrast to the last post. Needs work is all I'll say and perhaps a little tidy 🙂. If it's ever finished a might even get the Z in there. 3 Quote
marzman Posted Monday at 19:34 Author Posted Monday at 19:34 Sorry to spam again but I picked up a couple of new additions at the weekend, plus re-positioned the hexagon lights. Oil drum seat: Lotus badge - this is a metal sign that i've just taped to the floor. 4 Quote
