Goes without saying its not a race/sprint at all, let's have fun and drive to the conditions. If the group splits, no problem continue and make your way to the next checkpoint. If you need fuel along the way or wish to pull over for a quick scenic picture, perfect and continue to the next checkpoint ✅ Start/Finish Fairfield car park Abergavenny NP7 5SG Checkpoint 1 A470 Beacons Reservoir Lay-by Brecon LD3 8NL Checkpoint 2 Military Road Lay-by Brecon LD3 8RH Checkpoint 3 The Groe Car Park Builth Wells LD2 3BG Check point 3 incorporates late lunch also. To those that couldn't make it. We had local routemaster. So despite the amazing weather we still found even better routes off course and let the Fairlady sing. After Snowdonia had to be done. HEADPHONES Posted July 17, 2023 Share Posted July 17, 2023 I was absolutely shattered when I got home. Adrenaline rush and excitement all day took it's toll. Racked up 450 miles door to door. Even had my wingman Tony from Preston convoy there and back. Special thanks to our Wales coordinator Jerry , @davey_83 and @Phil T (and Jules) for all they're work in making it a great day for all of us.. But the detour to one of the best roads north of Brecon was great. A chance to put the exhaust to good use. North and South Wales complete! Oh we were not far from a shooting range.
