Exec Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Certainly looks nicer than the beans & sausages on toast which I would call a man-meal! Quote

TT350 Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Making Thai lamb shanks tonight. Slow cooked. Need another hour at least yet. So much fat in lamb and coconut milk! 2 Quote

TT350 Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Recipe: 2x lamb shanks 2x 400ml coconut milk 1x jar of red Thai curry paste (if you can find massaman paste it's even better) 1x tin of diced sautéed onions Chopped frozen mixed peppers to taste small tub of double cream All in a Casserole pot. Mines a 3.5L one. 160c 3.5hr or keep checking until the lamb is SOFT. I'm gonna have it with sticky rice. It's hard to find sometimes though. But I have some. Usually in the World Food section. Egg noodles are good too. Quote
Snjur Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 We have continued with sea food again. Juicy grouper fish 8 kg and couple of pieces of beef tenderloin For next Saturday barracuda Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk Quote

Snjur Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I love your car Snjur and you're a good guy. But im not down with your BBQ food lol. Hahahaha. I'm a stew guy specially at home with wild stuff like bore deer etc beef stakes and so true meat lover. But when you are in hot climates that type of food is huh heavy in any way just too much. So this couple of months mainly I'm on light stuff fried rice fish and salads. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk Quote
-G- Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 The day before I invite my friends round for working on the cars or other non-female influenced activities (fitba, tennis) I order a full size tandoori tikka pizza the night before and stick it in the fridge as soon as it arrives. Missus thinks I'm mad for serving cold pizza & beer, but she has no idea. Quote
Ekona Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I think you're mad for serving cold pizza too! Should always be warm, I'll accept a microwaved slice or two the day after for leftovers as well. 1 Quote
Ekona Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I bet you're one of those weirdos who puts ketchup in the fridge too. Quote
Jay84 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Salad cream and mayo yes to the fridge, tommy k in the cupboard. 1 Quote
nixy Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 950g of beef. Jeez what is your food bill like! You don't eat steaks you eat joints of beef! Quote
Strudul Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I don't get putting chilled sauce on hot food. BBQ sauce is best when it's still warm. 1 Quote
-G- Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I despise condiments. If your food needs ketchup to make it palatable, you're shite at cooking. 2nd day curry, stew, chilli etc tastes BETTER than the day it was originally made. Fact. Same with tandoori-tikka pizza. Also, It's the missus who you agree with regarding cold pizza who insists on keeping ketchup in the fridge. Weirdo. Quote
TT350 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 When I make chilli, it definitely tastes better the day after. 2 Quote
