davey_83
Thought I'd share these Been years since I took roof top pictures, don't hardly ever go into multistorey car parks. Use to know a good spot near the old Matthew Bolton college but that's been torn down. Think I may need to delay taking off my summer wheels, least until the council feels the need to salt the roads. My favourite angle at the moment Edited November 10, 2020 by davey_83

davey_83
Forum guide to the rescue yet again. Followed the below and we now have a working Bose amp and sub woofer, it's not been working for years too. https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85821-how-to-bose-subwoofer-cutout-fix-amp/ Tip - check the 15amp audio fuse also
HEADPHONES
Ever since I changed out the Bose headunit to my current DAB JVC one, i really like my Bose ampnand sub. The EQ on my JVC suits it perfectly with the EQ set flat but Super Bass on. That guide linky you posted cracked me up. The guy opened the amp up planning to stuff a piece of card in to tighten the contact and he found someone beat him to it as a piece of card was already there Glad you're able to enjoy yours again Edited November 24, 2020 by HEADPHONES
msitpro
Interesting... my Bose sub cuts in and out, more often not working than working. I changed the heat unit in May 2018 only a week or two after buying the car and assumed it was my soldering caused a loose contact. Maybe I have the same issue. Would lay money you have the same issue, the amp kicking in and out is a well known. I bought a second hand one and never had further issues. Its located behind the main sub, behind drivers seat. 20 minute job to swap over
davey_83
Out and about enjoying the sound system again now. Driver's door card came off recently too as the speaker stopped working following a visit to a pot hole. Disconnect and reconnect fixed the issue this time at least. First pics of Winter - wanted to move the car around, however with apartments very nearby thought better of it being before sunrise.

davey_83
I know right. Tried your new tyre dressing fella? I've bought another bottle in the sales.
HEADPHONES
Definitely feeling the love for the glossier Autoglym Tyre gel Vs their instant tyre dressing. I'm trying not to stock up on anything now. Will just buy a replacement once I'm running low. Too many bottles of stuff in storage as it is
davey_83
Yeah same to be fair, I use AG tyre gel now also as my bumper care of the Sunny as they're bare plastic and it restores them nicely with 2-3 months longevity. Whereas any other gel type product last about a week. You can buff the gel off the tyres for a more satin finish. Glad you pleased with it and a little goes a long way too. That smell though
davey_83
Out for a spin the other Sunday for breakfast with a couple pals, nice to sit back and follow for a change. On the way home stopped for a refill of Supreme+ 99. She wasn't dirty but any excuse to burn some calories Reset complete
HEADPHONES
Showing off some lovely wheels and fitment in that last pic. The right choice of wheels really sets off the Zed.. I'm on standard suspension and already worry about going into new and unknown multi storey car parks. If I was a braver man I'd definitely follow your fitment settings. If I was THE BRAVEST man I'd follow Silverthorn's 1 1
davey_83
Cheers fella, thank you. Almost January and I haven't taken off the 19's, as they look great at this ride height. LMGT4's work at OE ride height, as they're a factory option wheel so isn't a given they need to go on a lowered car. Whereas I always felt aftermarket wheels, especially going up a size suit a lowered car. For the 99.99% of time im not in an awkward multi storey, the low look is more than worth it.
