neo Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/infiniti/q60/93554/new-infiniti-q60-coupe-revealed-at-detroit-show Nice looking coupe Quote
Mikevv Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I like the front, a bit of Jag in the headlights? Similar lines to the new mustang/bmw 4 series - Both compliments IMO Don't think I'd buy one though. Quote
neo Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 The rear lights do remind me of the new Mazda 6 tho Quote
LRF4N Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I posted pics of the concept a while back, really thought I would have one of these when it's out. But that rear pillar ruins the car IMO. Just looks awkward from most angles Quote
Paddy78 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The only good thing about this is the engine... do we think there may be a slim chance a variant of that gets put in the new Z? That would mean a 2.0 turbo to compete with the BRZ etc. and a more powerful V6? Quote
Jay Kay Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Quite like it. New front bumper to get rid of the gopping mouth and maybe a chrome delete and some better wheels and it could look nice Quote
370Ad Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) In quite like it too. I imagine the Engine be put into the new Z as history has told us before. 3 Litre V6 with Twin Turbos..... the Z might be able to keep up with a VXR now Edited January 12, 2016 by 370Ad Quote
delz0r Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The co2 output on the full fat V6 400HP would put it in the 1200 Euro a year tax bracket in Ireland. Which isn't too bad considering the 370Z is 2350Euro a year to tax here. 1 Quote
AMT Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Hmm, its a good looking thing but...theres something odd or not quite on the money with the rear 3/4 tail part and the window. It doesn't seem to flow well to the back, as if the roof lines too high or at too steep an angle. Hopefully see it in the flesh soon at Infiniti Glasgow some time in the future but I'm undecided on that rear profile lol. Wonder if they've sorted the steering.... EDIT - Mind you Merc have that jelly, terrible looking backside on their S Class coupe thing and people buy it by the ton so should work... Edited January 12, 2016 by AMT Quote
Stutopia Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I like it, mouth's a bit big but if I was in the hunt for something in that class, it's got way more charm than zee Germans. Quote
AMT Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Agreed, I see too many C class coupes about and they just remind of just that... a C class (mind you the new ones a bit better looking..ish), 4 series as much as I'm not interested are a pretty good looking car (good looking not exciting ..in my view anyway, short of the M4). If it steers well and has the 400hp on tap it could be a nice coupe, lets see if I can grab a courtesy car one in the future when my cars in for servicing... or front arms Quote
glrnet Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I prefer this http://www.lexus.co.uk/car-models/lc/lc-500/#Introduction 1 Quote
Ekona Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than that god-awful monstrosity of a Q60. I just don't like the wide-mouth-frog grill, but from the side profile it's stunning. Quote
AMT Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 The Lexus looks fantastic, again they seem to have also tinkered the back end on it for some reason but looks great Quote
