ZEUS Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Well after wanting these for a year or so I've finally bought a set (thanks to Chris at Tarmac sportz). They arrived Friday so after a quick rattle can paint job I fitted them today. They still need cutting back and polishing but I'm impatient 11 Quote
veilside z Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Looking fab buddy. B) I have a matching one for the rear window if you're interested. Quote
ZEUS Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Cheers veilside but that's me spent out for this year Quote
Jetpilot Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Think spraying the b pillar would finish it off Quote
ZEUS Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Think spraying the b pillar would finish it off They are carbon at the moment but I did think the same. Quote
fake ben taylor Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Are they just stuck on top of the glass or did you replace the glass? Quote
ZEUS Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Are they just stuck on top of the glass or did you replace the glass? They just stick on over the glass with 3M tape. Quote
fake ben taylor Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Would they fit in place of the glass? Sticking them over the glass seems a bit pointless :/ Quote
ZEUS Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 I think Bizz has them fitted without the glass in his drift car. I just like the look of them and the warmth of having glass in my car. 1 Quote
Payco Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Not being funny but removing the glass to fit them would be crazy. 4 Quote
MIGWEL Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I think they look really cool. My 350 is black too. I may try and get some 1 Quote
Humpy Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Have to say never been a fan of these but on the black it does look rather tasty 2 Quote
ZEUS Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Cheers guys , I love the look of them. Quote
GMballistic Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Looks real nice on black It would look awesome on your car too imo, ....red & black is a great combo. 1 Quote
Stutopia Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I think Bizz has them fitted without the glass in his drift car. I just like the look of them and the warmth of having glass in my car. I think that's a sensible choice One of my favourite mods, look great on black too 1 Quote
veilside z Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Every time it rained or you washed the car, the interior would be soaked. 1 Quote
Tinyflier Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I had mine carbon dipped to match my B post cover. Not met anyone yet who hasn't commented favourably on them, Good job! David 1 Quote
fake ben taylor Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Wouldn't get wet from rain? It's like fitting a bonnet with fake vents just so you get the look..... Each to their own though Quote
Payco Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) It's a little different to bonnet vents, bonnet vents have a function not just looks. Thess were made for looks not function although they could be used without windows but unless its a tack car that would be the most ridiculous mod ever know to man. The original poster here has used them in the right way. Edited December 1, 2015 by Payco Quote
fake ben taylor Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 They were designed for a function. Its just people want the look without the function Louvres on Nissan aren't a new thing. Look up old z's, s13 Louvres etc. They were designed to ventilate the cabin Quote
veilside z Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 They do look sweet though. When I purchased mine I had the option of the Mustang look ones they fit to the rear quarter glass. Quote
