Great guide. I have just done mine it took around 50 minutes.
My window was stuck at the top I put a new motor in instead of brushes.
The only thing I can add is that I also saw this guide too. http://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and-repair/361241-how-to-repair-stuck-broken-window-motor.html
Taping the window meant no messing around with getting the glass right.
No idea what would happen if the window was down
If he is Gas Safe registered report him to them.He has left a gas appliance in a dangerous condition.
Even though it is a water leak.

UV protection I never bother. I only really need to clean the lights once a year. The meguiars paint cleaner is only lightly abrasive if at all.
Then I just wax the headlights while I do the rest of the car. As others have said just go polish them, they soon clean.
Changing the plugs,I dropped and lost 2 of the small bolts that hold the coil packs, wiring loom brackets.
Ones I ordered from ebay, you could probably assemble Sydney Harbour bridge with.
Just one of these as mine snapped in the middle. You can get a black one or use tape

My car has just been for a service at Mikey's brothers garage.
Ritch spotted a corroded hole in the sump which has just started to leak through.
It might be worth having a quick look at yours.
On passenger side, chrome trim just pops off. There are 2 bolts behind they are quite far in.
I would imagine drivers side is similar. This is for an 04.
