11.27 mate, look again.

Well, where do I start. After 3 years of pain I have eventually overcome the heat soak and high temperature issues that has troubled my car. With the help of Abbey I have managed to squeeze considerable more power and torque from it and reduce the running temperatures. The car is now quite comfortable running 1.2 bar. Had it's shakedown at KRC on Friday evening and was totally trouble free and heading back tomorrow evening (Monday) for another session. The car was no slouch before but it now commands your total respect. Abbey's Dynapack Chassis Dynamometer was used for the mapping so the numbers in the graphs below are from the hubs

4 hours is an average time for a clutch and fly swop out, 3 hours on a good day. The workshop manual lists a lot of unnecessary stuff to be removed to get the gearbox out. Alex.

I have run both the SSV and the Cosworth Plenums. I had issues with the SSV previously running 500 bhp and had to reinforce and reweld the plenum seams. I now run 600 at the hubs with no SSV reliability issues since. The later SSV plenums are now manufactured using a different process and are now trouble free. No gains to be had if you remain n.a. The Cosworth plenum is much more robust and since Cosworth changed there manufacturing process the quality issues have now been sorted. I have a brand new Cosworth Plenum with Carbon End Covers which I am about to advertise, but it is available to members at the moment for £699.00. Alex.

Totally agree, that is why I mentioned in my post advising to revert to Nissan regarding the Clutch Master Cyl. issue.

would that not be a TSB? The kit you offer does it need anything else? (nuts bolts, shimming etc) What HP is that above kit you speak about approved to? Might be interested in changing to that depending on what HP its good for once I need a replacment Sorry, having a blond moment: What is a TSB? The kit comes complete with Cover, Plate and Bearing and even has a tube of spline grease, so no further parts are required. This is Exedy oem replacement but upgraded Exedy kits are also available but if your car is stock then this is all you will require and no drivability or feel will be lost. They are good for up to 376hp but remember that it is torque that destroys most components and not hp.

If you wish to stay close to stock then the Exedy 3 piece clutch kit is the way forward. This marries up perfectly with the Lighweight Aluminium Fidanza Flywheel which is a superb upgrade. I have the clutch kits available for next day despatch but the Fidanza flys are not due until end of next week The probable reason why your clutch has experienced an early end to its life would be due to a faulty fluid return valve in the clutch master cyl.
