    accelera tyres

    You already know my view.
  2. Insisting that the panels be removed for painting will create colour matching issues as you really can not paint just one panel off the car and refit it and expect it to match. The best way is to paint the panel on the car and flash and blend into the adjoining panels. As regards the front bumper they will have to blend into both the front wings and hopefully not into the front of bonnet. The rear bumper will require blending into both rear wings and perhaps into the lower part of the boot lid. The skirt will produce very little issues due to its location so no drama there. Alex.
  3. Hi Rich, In stock and good to go same/next day Drop me a pm or give me a ring if I can help you further mate. Alex
  4. They should not really get this diagnoses wrong as the fault code should identify which sensor is giving you grief. Perhaps there may be an issue with the air gap at the CPS if it is throwing up the CPS code. Perhaps it may be a cam position sensor or the MAF sensor. Back to Nissan, Consult 2 is your friend Alex.
  5. After what you were telling me at the weekend Atholl, I am now beginning to wonder who really does wear the trousers in your household. Many happy returns Atholl Enjoy it mate cause it may be your last.
  6. I doubt very much if you would have a suitable application to fit my calipers on the Zed. However, if you do, then I would be delighted to trial them for you and if they work on track for me, then I would most certainly endorse your product on this forum. Can't be any fairer than that Alex.

    Squeaky brakes??

Neil, stop getting your panties in a twist mate. Of course you have got to use copper slip - copper grease - squeal ease to help eliminate brake pad squeal caused by contact of the caliper piston and the rear of the brake pad. Most of this stuff is good to very high temperatures and providing you have not applied it with a ladle and you have not been to liberal with the application to the rear of the pad then all will be good and it will not disperse onto the friction material. If you are running big power and require something which will handle extreme temperatures then I would recommend PBC (Poly Butyl Cuprysil) which is good for up to 1200 degrees C This is what I use but any of the other stuff previously mentioned or similar will be fine for your track beasty
  8. From my experience, you just can't beat Ferodo DS 2500 pads for Fast Road or Light track use or Performance Friction 01 compound if you are looking for a bit extra I am sorry but I can not get enthusiastic about any EBC stuff and the Hawk stuff that comes with the Stoptech BBKs that I bring in from USA goes straight into the bin. Just remember there is no such thing as a free lunch and you only get what you pay for. Alex.

    1 Eibach spring

That's why I'm pretty miffed. I doubt they will pay for labour costs 15 minutes to swop out the front coil spring. PM received and replied to.

    COOLING

Agreed, but when one fails it is hardly noticable, until the second one fails. So you could be running with only one fan motor working and you may not have any running hot issues while in traffic. Alex.
