BIN IT:
You will not be able to reshape the pipe so either cut the damaged section out and sleeve it or purchase another mid section.
Or if you want to botch it then just fit it as it is.

Three words spring to mind: "Disc Thickness Variation"
You always recognise a pigs ear of a job when you find the center inside face of the "refurbished" wheel covered in paint or powdercoat.
This is one of the main culprits of DTV which is extremely expensive to rectify 1500 miles on.

The ESP version is not suitable for the 350/370 or R35 GT-R
I use and recommend Motul 5W30 Eco-Nergy 8100 fully synth for the 350Z.
I also use and recommend Mobil 1 New Life 0W40 fully synth for the R35 GT-R
Both the above are in stock and good to go same/next day.
Alex.
Ollie,
Best to get a new tap the correct size and just carefully retap the threads.
If that fails then a helicoil will work if fitted properly.
Do not go oversize as you will have a problem sourcing the correct bolts and you would have to machine out the upright caliper fixing holes which is not a good idea.
Stock OEM front and rear caliper bolts are in stock if required.
Alex.
If any preowned come into stock within the next few days I will give you a shout Sam.
Have you checked in the "FOR SALE" forum as I saw a set of Eibach springs and shocks for sale in ther earlier this week.?
Alex.
Fresh out of preowned at the moment, however new Eibach spacers and Eibach springs are in stock and good to go same/next day.
Just drop me a PM Sam if I can help you further mate.
Alex.
Unfortunately if it is the compression rod ball joint then you will have to replace the complete arm.
Yes the SP bushings can be reused if you can remove and reinstall them without damaging them, however I would be tempted to just fit the new compression rod which comes with a new OEM bushing already fitted.
Alex.
Daryl,
You will have to systematically check over the suspension which should only take around 15 mins to eliminate all other possibilities.
However more than likely you will end back at the compression rod ball joint.
All front and rear suspension parts are in stock and good to go same/next day if required.

I would not dream of taking any form of payment for advice Luke;
If he did not remove the gear lever from within the car (which is the correct and easiest method) then he must have removed the bridal from the gearbox from underneath which is held on with 4 bolts.
He also would have had to remove the bolt and nut which connects the gear lever to the gearbox linkage.
On assembly, I just can not figure how he could go wrong, unless he has lost the bush/bushes from the base of the gear lever where it joins the linkage.
i will dig out a few schematics for you and post up.
