  1. Good news in the end, bill wasn't that bad Sorry, got to disagree, £408.00 equates to circa 8 hours labour. Did you also get a P3 and a brake upgrade ?
  2. He hit a kerb and got a puncture.
  3. They probably unnecessarily removed the exhaust and cats etc. Name and shame to save other forum members similar pain. ~ I done my cats and exhaust in about half hour lol. still not 9 hours worth! Could run into may extra hours if they snapped the cat bolts and studs. Perhaps they had to do it twice if car would not start after fitting the fly incorrectly. Alex.

  5. Race 2 was up there with the very best over the past years. However, need a bit if clarity, as still a bit confused with all the new regulations. Strategy will certainly play a bigger part than ever this year.
  6. I believe that the 370 torque is 98 ft-lb. Best nip mine up a touch then !! Might be a plan. 80 is less than your wheel nut torque.
  7. You should have got a written quote before instructing the job and if you didn't, then you only have your self to blame so I guess that you may just have to suck it up. £200.00 is the going rate for a clutch and fly swop out, so circa 4 X £50.00. Alex.

  9. Ewen, I know at least three guys in here who had the Whiteline droplinks, some from yourselves, others from ZManAlex, some rusted or corroded badly, in one case they've snapped. Lots of reviews on US forums also don't rate them very well do a quick search here: http://my350z.com/forum Adrian, I have never sold the Whiteline drop links. The only links that I sold were genuine Nissan OEM or PowerGrid adjustables. Alex.
  10. 114 ft-lb is not exceptionally tight for the thickness of the bolts. The reason that it appears to be is because you are not getting in the correct position to apply the torque.
  11. 152.1 - 154.9 N·m (15.6 - 15.7 kg-m, 113 - 114 ft - lb) are the correct torque numbers for Brembo front caliper bolts.
  12. Nice one, Now let's have a vid.
  13. I will have all the parts in stock to repair your issues, however best to get some images up here so an informed decision can be made on what parts you actually do require. It would also be a plan to check that the stud holes in the wheels are not elongated and also that the tyre wall (inner and outer) is not damaged. Plenty pre owned wheels, tyres, spacers, hubs, nuts and studs etc. in stock. Alex.
  14. It is up to the garage to "tint" the paint to get a perfect match. I am very surprised that they let the car out with such a colour mismatch.
  15. Every day is a school day, however I will continue to use J matic until the jury returns.
  16. Either way works mate. I can turn this round in 5 hours, however I am in Perthshire.
