  1. Xsquiste in Croydon I would say - throwing out some mental stuff. But even so Fibre Glass isnt hard stuff to work with so personally I would do it myself.
  2. Should be just a simple adjustment ( whip the centre ash tray out and u can see the adjustment screw below (10mm I seem to remember) Pads shouldnt need doing as its a drum brake design, (inside the rear disc) so not exposed to the elements and dont wear to much as its not used to slow down the car (or shouldnt be u might like ur Handbrake turns)
  3. Exactly as it says on the title please
  4. Yeah, I had it fitted. Got it off Big Phil in the end fitted in about 30 mins works a treat
  5. They are talking around the 330 mark for BHP
  6. I love that ..... :teeth:
  7. Right just for closure on this topic there are 2 fuses - one in the engine bay, fuse and relay box (the one next to the battery, one that is accessable without removing all the trim) and the second one is in the interior fuse box, (lower row and in the middle) both 15amp mini blade fuses. Both had blown on mine! So i would imagine this would be cases should anyone else suffer with the same problem. Thanks for your help 3fiddy much appreciated!
  8. Saw it a while ago without the subtitles - bloody hilarious though
  9. That is hilarious This is how the video unfolds - with Francesca becoming more and more terrified and annoyed at her hubby as he progresses around the circuit (WARNING: contains strong language) Francesca: No. Stop Patrese: (Silence with a grin). Francesca: Please, the lads just asked you to drive slow. your doing this on purpose. No. your doing it on purpose. Riccardo! Oh, God, Oh God. Really, NO, NO, NO! I’m not enjoying myself. Please, I just wanted to see.....(with a higher pitch) This is not a Formula 1 and it is not glued to the ground. I am only in here for one lap. Oh, God, Mamma Mia. Why don’t you go slower. Please. Why don’t you have respect for a mother with children that are waiting for me at home. Slow down - are you crazy? I have got children at home and we are their parents. No. No. Riccardo. NO, NO, GO SLOWER. YOUR CRAZY. LOOK, LOOK PLEASE. PLEASE RICCARDO GO SLOWER. PLEASE go slower. Patrese: (Silence with a grin). Francesca: Mamma Mia, Riccardo. LET ME OUT. NO. PLEASE, ENOUGH. YOU’RE A PIECE OF s***! GO F*** YOURSELF. YOU’RE A ****. (Then a bit of sign language). I am not getting in a car with you anymore. I told you I didn’t want to get in. Please Virgin Mary. Every time I get in a car with you I want to throw up!!
  10. To be honest it wasnt to bad interms of dedication. The vast majority of the work was done with the drill and wire brush (the results of this were in the first pic)
  11. HKS will sort the Speed limiter - circa 200 notes Dials (Im guessing you are talking about the centre triple cluster with oil pressure etc) can be fixed with a swap from a UK car direct swap! Im sure you can swap the indicators around but personally I prefere them on that side
  12. Could defo be up for this
  13. Well Im guessing its 2 fuses that have gone, wiring on 10 and 6 (top) just locating them now!
  14. Its not the amp its the head unit
  15. Any ideas, I have checked all the fuses in the box next to the acc pedal, one was blown and replacement hasnt cured it! - i dont know what fuse is for the headunit as its all in jap. is there any more fuses for the bose, or does anyone have any other ideas Dan
  16. Brillant - I was actually in stitches at some of the responses especially.
  17. Looks a cool edition to a zed!!!! - Mine is manual but heres a bump for a cool product
  18. Yes my TB was full of crap so gave its a good clean with some wynns awell havent driven with anger yet but will let know know. The other think I noticed is that the pipe of the plenum chamber is incredably rough, anyone tried smoothing this? Plus ECU reset is a pain to get the timings right ... think mine took me about 11 attempts so if it doesnt work first time, keep going
  19. Come on spill the beans on the new mods
  20. Welcome - get some pics up
  21. I have cleaned it up a bit, but I know Phil had issues so I havent gone full whack on it.
  22. Decided as I didnt really need the car this week I would have a bash at sprucing up the engine, mainly polishing the plenum. After using the guides on here I whipped it off, nice easy job. Next I attacked with a wire brush drill bit, Varying from large to shaped one for the more fiddly areas. After removing all the main dirt/filth and down to clean metal I attacked it with Sandpaper - starting on 40 grit then 80, 240,400,800 and then finished with 1200. quick once over with Autosol Metal polish to finish. I did I think about 40/50 mins a night for a few nights and then spent Sat morning finishing off, probs total time was about 4/5 hours but I am really pleased with the results.
  23. Yup defo an exhaust blowing. If it gets worse you will loose performance until replaced as there will be not the correct back pressure. But then again why replace like for like, if it breaks - upgrade!
