  1. And should be able to do an alternator check
  2. More than likely to be the battery, better to try and swap it out for a larger UK battery if you can, involves changing the terminals though, very worth it IMO, better cranking power etc
  3. Nice car and best colour Did i read that correctly that you have put a face life interior in a pre facelift, I bet a few people would be interested on here
  4. Yes but we are on about the Falken 452's and even so the zed only has 230 brake where it matters
  5. In that thread you referanced the common denominator is always the bridgestones which have been said are a poor tyre choice for the zed. im just speaking from personal experience, and driving across some lairy roads in Europe, hitting the top speed limiter and having some shall we call it, spirited driving i have never suffered any issues at all with a goodyear/falken mix Dan
  6. A bit of a silly topic but should entertain you, After this topic about the dealers in Didcot. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=23635 I was wondering what daft piece of advice you have been given on your car that made you laugh... I think my two fav's i have been told are: After enquiring about a low entry jack in halfords Guildford and them being unable to supply one, I was offered the advise to grab the front wheel arch, lift it up and kick the jack underneath! - I think I actually laughed out loud when they told me this. Second one was someone trying to convince me that grooved brake discs were designed to warm the brake pads up quicker... ... come on lets hear yours!
  7. I wouldnt say that at all, it just varies the grip levels, i.e if you get a nice sticky tyre in the rear and a less grippy in the front it might feel a bit weird to drive but unless you are pushing it around a track i doubt you would ever notice!!! ive been running Eagle F1's on the back and 452 up front for about 14000 miles now with no issues what so ever.
  8. 3000 miles in a week round Europe and I didnt suffer at all Doesnt get much more of a test than that!
  9. SCAM - please read what it says ... ' You're getting a greddy boost controller, greddy type rs bov, greddy turbo timer, and a walboro 255 fuel pump ' No turbos in sight!
  10. I would be nervous of the JDM performance ones. I bought 4 and one blew within 2 weeks, two have gone almost a red colour glow now and they are very dim http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/wy21w- ... 16461.html - these are much better Dan
  11. Remember Martins is a fully closed system though. Shouldnt be difficult but then again I have never done it on a 350z just a few other cars
  12. Ok I think we defo need a 'search tips sticky' - martin, i would really call it a mod more of an addition lol - Or thats what I tell the G/f
  13. Ah ha I was using ' and not " that might be worth a sticky as Im sure Im not the only one who doesnt know search best practises. Much appreciated chesterfield
  14. I know we always tell members to search and I certainly have been victim to the abuse and given plenty of abuse as well Let me give you an example ... If I'm looking for a catch can/tank I put in Catch Tank or Catch+tank or 'catch tank' and I am returned with 85 pages of posts. - Brilliant I think plenty of reading material... but the vast majority of the posts are 'I swear you could catch something by just walking near them ' or 'Dont shoot off too early on wed, I have to catch you up ' or 'Stew - Should be able to make a brief appearance tonight - catch ya later!' Tis funny but not alot of use, could we put some search rules in like the + or '...' as used on internet search engines to filter out posts. Relevant post started to filter through on page 5/6. Just a suggestion Dan
  15. caption time Mark takes the appreciation of the chilli's new exhaust one step too far!
  16. 22mm for the back of the caliper IIRC, they are torqued to about 110nm so best to get a hex rather than a bihex
  17. Thanks once again Sarah, Hope we can make a small difference with the donations. and thank you all for a brilliant day .... Now where's that aftersun!
  18. Only that you may struggle to find a 275/45/18 more likely to get a 40 profile

They are only a couple of quid from Nissan themselves
  20. Sounds like your taillight is cracked somewhere. Remove the light and dry it out properly, ive often heard people putting Silca bags (found in new products to keep them dry) inside the light housing to absorb all the moisture. If the housing is cracked nothing you will do will solve it. Could be time for LED's?
