    Quick once over

The car was desperately in need of a wash and whilst I was at it, I though i'd put some pictures up for your review, comments and general bitching Yes I know you are probably all bored of seeing pictures of a fairly stock zed but here you are anyway.

    Door Handles

    zmanalex may also have some
  5. Nurrish - technically the unichip is as good as tuning the stock tune byt uprev, 3fiddy went from 276 - 291 gap of 15bhp and you went from 287 - 301 - thus 14bhp. Price wise i dont think there is anything in it. Would be interesting to get yours and Marks on the same set of roller

    A FEW PICS!!

You may recall OR not, that I used to own a EP3 CTR for 3 and a half years, as such I am still a member of various Honda forums and was the organiser of probably the largest Honda Meets in the South, if not the UK. So now that I am a Z owner, I think its still very nice of them to allow me to attend the odd Meet or 2. Even now, I am still PM`d from CTR onwers who want me to organise a Bluewater Meet like the good old days I never laugh at the cars on show at Civiclife, indeed some of them could easily embarrass a Zed with casual arrogance at Santa Pod. Jerry Dont bite so easily lol! Im good mates with the owner of that club and we're always taking the **** out of one another. POWERSHIFT!!!!!!
  7. silica bags is your friend - drop one in over night job done. sorted my new fogging lights out a treat

    A FEW PICS!!

I think the crucial thing on this thread is that you went to a civic life meet ... did you need a laugh or something?
  9. Basically 17's are for go 18's are for go little show 19's are for show little go 20's are show 22's are for pimping some hoes 24's are for a hummer so stop thinking about it!
  10. If you are running stance there is only 1 setting you need \/
  11. They look pretty sweet. Is that a matt black z in the background!? Never mind the background, this thread is about 18" wheels
  12. 18's FTW!!!! in my opinion!!!
  13. Chris i dont think this is the case at all. UpRev will be able to correct me on this but i believe the reason people use a Standalone system is the versitility of the box. Looking at some of the systems namely Solarus, Pectal, Motec, Haltech etc the data logging controllability and live mapping would be fantastic for a 'non standard engine', plus is cheaper when you are constantly changing modification and required a map to modify it. When you look at 95% of the 350z's currently in the UK they are pretty much stock engine, abit a few bolt ons. When you start doing the internals and running higher tolerances outside of the stock ECU I believe the standalone would be the only way to go. RSTuning/UpRev/Abbey - i think you are doing a fantastic job bringing this kind of technology to the UK and will be perfect for 95% of the cars here. Just to get this right is the UpRev Tune a dump of the ECU that is sent away to America and then sent back with tweaks and uploaded?
  14. /\ Pic from his build thread ... I dont know this guy at all but this looks a very serious build!
  15. Unfortunately this is always going to be one of the problems with having a free and open forum you tend to get all sorts on here. You see the same with all the local cruise sites. Sites that you have a premium membership for helps filter out all the cr@p. On another note, I know this guy has upset a few people on here but he has one hell of a build thread on my350z.com
  16. /\ With 528 posts in just over a month you are like a spam cannon therefore, I tend to not read it all sorry mate!!
  17. Daft thought but check your brake pads, Ive known mates that have been thrashing their cars and the metalic particles of the brake pads have worn down, flicked off and stuck to the bodywork, after that they have rusted slightly giving the impression that the panels are rusting.
  18. I know that the Older JDM cars have a slightly different setup to the UK, I believe its the damping/valves but thats a bit of a guess, looks wise/ replacement wise they are identical.
  19. Very impressive then, you obviously have a very strong car
  20. Nurrish, Is your car the 295 spec car or the 276. Only reason I ask is that you have a plenum, filter and exhaust and made 287 at the fly (11bhp over stock) which is almost unheard of for a UK Spec car. When comparing it with ChrisI Who has the same spec as you and made 276 almost exactly and this is the same with 3fiddy's and countless other UK models. Not trying to pick holes just interested. Dan
  21. Hi Tim, How many miles is on this one? Dan
  22. Its just the Exedy OEM equivilant. - Think Alex only does the one!
  23. I can vouch for the zmanalex special. I am using the Exedy Clutch and Fidanza flywheel bought of him about 6 months ago and since install has been faultless. The L&B flywheel allows a bit quicker reving - but slight increased noise due to it being a single mass - I love it though Clutch is perfect, nice and light and grips much better than OEM. Dan
