    oil gage?

Sender units are known to fail, located i think at the front of the block - alex should be able to confirm as he is quite intermate with the old VQ engine. Could try an engine flush and an oil change to clean the sender unit. Dan
  6. Chilli's have some in stock - I spotted it on the weekend PM 'Chilli Red' or 'Gaz Walker' Dan
  7. I did mine aswell, fell out with one bolt, (lower strut one) but other than that not too bad at all, rears are unbelievably easy! Couple of tips, try and soak everything the night before in penetrating oil, 3in1 penetrating oil from halfords was may fave, much better than wd40! Try and buy new bolts to replace old item, - not a neccessity but its always a nice to have. And DONT use Bihex sockets! Some of the bolts are v.tight and require a fair bit of tq. A decent set of hex sockets and a large breaker bar and you are well alway! Dan
  8. booo who moved it!!!! its funnier when its not read as a joke!
  9. 350z owners style advice please... I've had my G/F for 2 years now (lives with me) - cooks for me, always been good to me and hot as hell. Anyway I go away on holiday for a week, come back and something just doesn't seem right. My G/f isn't acting right at all. But i let it slide and I carry on with how with it So anyway last week ... I'm coming home early from work when, right in my Kitchen I catch my Father red handed with his meat in my G/f. I fuming, so $%*&ing pi**ed, told him to get his meat out of my G/f and '$%£&' off, needless to say my G/f went off aswell. Ive been forced to throw the g/f out, but im in pieces, I dont know how I can cope without my g/f, two years together for it all to be ruined by my own father! Just to rub it in, about 10 minutes ago my old man had the audacity to ask my how my G/f has been since the incident, when he's the damn reason we ain't together no more. Has anyone ever had anything similar ... i really dont know what to do. Here's a pic of my G/f for you guys as I know you'll just post the - Dont worry its work safe but should i post ones later showing more of the good stuff for revenge or will it just remind me of good times http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c216/ ... _A_400.jpg Help Dan
  10. Yeah I know the Nismo just is plug and play just nervous of the stock one. Im Curious more than anything else so I would be appreciative if the buyer would post up their results. Ian just be careful of the fuel, looking at martins thread its seems a fussy little begger as its mapped to the 100 ron that they have in JDM. Just out of interest where did you purchase it from? Dan
  11. Would be interested to see if this actually works, as I would imagine the ECU would require divorcing from the car. You cant even swap CD players from car to car let alone the ECU.
  12. All the fuses for the headlights are in the fuse box behind the battery where you have to remove the plastic covers. certainly for the high and low beam there is a single fuse for each individual bulb!!!
  13. depends how good the painter is and how confident they are in their own work. If someone told me dont touch it for 2 weeks I would be nervous. When I had my roof done the guy gave the whole car a clean before me collecting it, that was a really good sign that the guy is perfectly confident in his own work. I take it the car wasnt baked?
  14. Lol I was under the impression that there wasnt just one, some test and prototype drivers send their own test drivers. Where is isnt a specific driver required, it thought it was Ben Collins that was this stig
  15. I think the phrase you are looking for Chris is..... if you have to ask the price, you cant afford it!
  16. Gear knob or gear gater? Gear stick is the metal threaded second the leather gater covers.
  17. Was that exhaust put on an offroad machine of some kind, it looks to have had a hard life!
  18. Im im sure they are the same accross the range, Certainly the same bulbs/ ballasts and ignitors between the JDM and UKs, completely interchangable
