  3. Not sure why you are thanking me mate, all i did was drank your peach cordial, worked on my car with your tools and unplugged your cigerette lighter when you and mark couldnt figure out how to ha ha ha! In all seriousness mate, im glad to see its back in safe hands, yes its a pain, but once its sorted I will argue it to be up there with the top zeds on the forum

    jap import

HKS SLD from Envy (Chilli Red) - requires wiring into the ECU loom, not a difficult job if you are careful as the instructions are really good. Circa £400 if I remember correctly
  5. Bugger ive just bought a clear one, luckily it wasnt too expensive. I might 'clear out' my OEM one now lol
  6. on another note how much is your zed lowered by, looks spot on
  7. Does it remove the dividing part thought, i.e when the indicator lights up, does it spill over into where the fog once was?

    ESR Y Pipe

I am putting my Y pipe up for sale. I believe its been designed to emulate the NISMO one, really good product for anyone with a Y pipe back exhaust. Certainly fits earlier style zeds, and I dont believe the exhaust changed after 06 facelift, but please check if you are interested. Removes the restrictions in the standard Y pipe and is lighter. Releases a bit a noise aswell Other than a bit of exhaust putty on the joints its in really good condition - no breaks in the braided flexi-joints, a common point of failure on all Y pipes. Not really sure how much these are worth. Bit of a pain to post due to the size/shape. But I am at JTS next weekend or not far from the Chilli's Dan
  12. Muddy - the reasons for my comments is that time and again you see cars where people literally hand their credit card over to body shop/ supplier and just get the supplier to do it to how they want it. Obviously I dont know what the story is behind your car, and as I say the end result is very nice, i just hope its been built for the love of the car and not for the popularity contest that a 'show car' will no doubt bring.
  13. What and the fact they will 'post' to Europe

    BLEEDING BRAKES

Nope, its a nissan 'feature' to do it in that order
  15. Hey Sarah, I'll no doubt be able to pop along to one, if not both Dan
  16. is it worrying that i quite like that civic coupe?
  17. Looks good, but I have to question why you put it on my350z to get opinions on what they like, then go and spend your money on your car doing what they want? Am i missing the whole point of modifying to make a car individual and how you like? Sorry Dan
  18. Animation of a dual mass btw
  19. I would argue it could be 1 of two things.. yes the release bearing could have gone but also (and it occured in mine) The 350z operates a dual mass flywheel option (simple way to explain it is it has one fly inside another that give a bit of flexibility when engaging gears. Its not that common in road cars more found in trucks and tractors etc, but does mean the engage is quietened down. If the inner flywheel has lost its spring or resistance, it will just bounce against the metal stops making a horrible noise. When mine went the clutch bite was perfect just made a load of noise when engaging the clutch and when not engaged. One it has fully bitten the flywheel is just runing on the stops so doesnt move, therefore no noise. Unfortunately the only way to find out is a box off job.
  20. Yes they are should be the other way around
  21. So sorry when I heard this Sarah/Tony £450 - in 3 hrs - A real credit to the forum!
  22. Knocked your tracking out or worse still buckled your wheels, Best take it to a garage to get an allignment check
  23. and to add to the comment above, Im not a fan of the scorpion style. You loose the presence, and its surprising how much difference those chrome tail pipes make. The sound is good but defo needs a Y pipe with it.
