  3. You are wrong unfortunately mate, only other bit the the AC control box (white box) will need to be transported accross. Am I the only one that isnt a fan of the updated centre console? I prefere the curves of the older one
  4. he was sneaking up the drive peering through the window looking for more passonate activity! Can one of the mods change Jerrys status from 'Z veteran' to 'Voyeur'
  5. You would need a new interior loom and BCM. Cruise control is controlled by the ECU I believe therefore potentially new ECU. With the leather you could retrofit heated element as its just a 12v +ve /Gnd required but it would be hard to make it look neat. Bose needs a different loom aswell as you're going to 7 speakers. It can be done but depends how much time/effort and most importantly money you have.
  6. Superglue the nut to the back then or just use a normal bolt then...
  7. Why dont you undo the bolt that is in your way and do the one you cant get to up first

    Styling dilema

Style is not something that anyone can advise on.... unless you are building the car for someone else. My advice is trawl the net for pictures of what ideas you have and save them to you harddrive. Keep looking at them every few days and decide if you still like it after a period of time. Speak to owners about what works and what problems they had. But most of all take your time! Took me about a year and a half to decide on all my parts and yes its frustrating but I am so pleased with the end result. Have a theme/idea and stick to it. you are looking at two very different ends of the spectrum with your ideas. Decide what you want to do with your car, is it a show car, is it a daily driver, track car or what. You dont need lairy parts to make a car stand out. Its the quality of the parts and the ways its assembled that makes a car what it is. Only bit of advice i will offer is ... 'you get what you pay for'.
  9. We were all thinking that SubZero but us british are all too polite to say anything .... (most of the time)
  10. Mark has just picked up on what I was about to say, Normally the JDM ones are better looked after. Limited speed limits (Cant stress the engine as much) Much more Strick MOT's and when they get over here usually they are cheaper tax - I only pay £180 a year on mine. Aslong as you go with someone who knows what they are looking for and the owner seems good normally you will be ok. Ive noticed my JDM history is alot more frequent than the UK ones aswell.
  11. 9x18 front - 245/40/18 10x18 -rear 275/40/18
  12. Our new racial diversity policy at work
  13. nope they aere 501's that are a 10mm wedge. Plus they are crap quality so will do either 1 of two things. burn out or change to a more yellow light and consequently fail an MOT. Get silvertec or philips. Ian's link are silvertec's
  14. T20 - 20mm wedge bulbs
  15. I would come and help but I cant get over the speedbump outside your house Mark ha ha ha how ironic!!!
  16. The first of many I feel!!! Sorry for subjecting this to your eyes!
  17. I would say no purely because if you set yourself a time limit things will go wrong as you rush it. Clips break, bolts stick etc or you get the maf idling problem that causes you to have to perform the ECU reset. I have learnt the hard way that things take as long as they take. Ive done a full set of suspension in 2.5 hours but similarly spend 4 hours trying to undo ONE bolt. Better to say give yourself a 2 hour window and in all honest yes it will probs take you 30/40mins but better to make sure everything is done in a relaxed manor.
