Blimey, that's an increase and a half. Thing is, no other company can offer the same service as RM and although it does have it's faults, for the most part they do a pretty good job under fairly strict controls.

Honestly? Probably not if you've given it a solid thump. A minor graze yes, but not with any weight behind it. My brother had a very light tap in his and it slaughtered the front end, he had to get a new bumper in the end. All the important parts stay fine, but everything else is designed to crush very easily to absorb the impact.

The 309 is considerably better to drive than the 296, but I've only limited experience of the 276 models so couldn't really say how much better the 296 is over the 276. I'd have swapped my old 296 for a 309 without question if the right car had been available.

Ah, I see what you're referring to now. Does look a bit odd, but I suspect that's either a trick of the light/camera or all Zeds are like that. Can't see anything that would cause it, nor it being a problem.

It's a gorgeous colour, but don't ever mark a panel as it's a nightmare to try and match. It's pretty much the only colour I'd consider buying another Zed in. As long as you like it though, who cares what anyone else thinks?

There won't be any noticeable consumption change, the difference between 97 and 99 isn't that pronounced. You'd get better consumption by altering your driving style than you would changing fuel.

As I said earlier, you will be perfectly fine on 97RON. It's the difference between 95 and 97+ that causes issues, not 97 and 99. My Zed was run on 97 and loved it, as is the 911 and the Impreza.

Pre scrub with soft brush Meguiars Ultimate Shampoo with Soft Mitt Meguiars Quik Detail spray with Clay Meguiars Ultimate Polish Wait, no wax? After all that effort you really should get some protection on there, will save you a lot more effort in the next few washes and protect your hard work, too. Give it a quick wash and chuck some wax on there, the Megs liquid ones are better than nothing if you like their stuff

Surely the answer is to put BP, Texaco or Jet high octane fuel in?

Sorry to hear about your accident I'd buy another Zed rather than fix that up, if I'm honest.

Already done, although I used Redex injector cleaner as it was all Halfrauds had. Yup, but it'll be done very much on a budget though.
