Running AC makes surprisingly little difference to the MPG. Try it for a tank or two, I very much doubt you'll notice any difference at all (apart from being able to see out of the glass!).

New Scirocco is much prettier than the old one. Whether it has as much personality as the old one is up for debate.

I've seen far sicker stuff than that. Hell, only last week I caught a bit of a Justin Bieber concert on telly. That's exactly how I had mine, same model TT too.

Tyres or brakes? I think you'll find it's the brakes, and this could indicate a sticky caliper. Tyres always feel warm after use, but check the treadwear on them. If it's fine, then don't worry about it. If one looks a bit worn on one edge then you need an alignment.

Great car, but boring colour and it's a barge. I'd quite like one I must admit, but it would have to be in red and with something that handled alongside.
