  1. Is correct. Their 87 is our 95, their 91 is our 98. Turbos give you more shove, supercharger a smoother drive. I'd have the latter, but the former does give a massive grin.
  2. If reliability isn't an issue, then an Impreza or Evo would be the only realistic choice I reckon. At £3K they're going to be a bit sheddy though, and you may quickly eat into your budget just keeping them on the road. A good E36 328i would be a great shout, but at the expense of 4WD.
  3. I'd rather buy a car that had done 10K miles a year than one that had done 2K if I'm honest. Cheap sports cars are meant to be used and are better for it, rather than just left to sit there. *runs from Chesterfield and Beavis*
  4. What do you need the replacement car to do? Must haves/have nots?
  5. £7K for a 2003 is top, top money. £6K would be much closer.
  6. Just round the corner from where I live, only noticed it today so I'm guessing he moved it closer to the main road to get attention. Well, it worked as I stopped and had a nose Looks to be a tidy car, still for sale too.
  7. My point is that in the grand scheme of things, it's a drop in the ocean and I'd rather pay a bit more and have a better car.
  8. He is an outstanding driver. He won the title last year despite having the third best car, which tells you a lot. His win in 2011 was blighted by every other car being completely awful until 3/4 of the way through the year, but 2011 was supremely impressive as well, bearing in mind he didn't lead the championship once until he won it. If it was just the car, then Webber would be up there too fighting for the title.
  9. I put mine onto a plate. Then I use my fingers.
  10. I eat what tastes good. Where it came from or how it was killed has no bearing on whether it gets shoved in my mouth or not. Also, I have just ordered a multipack of BaconSalt
  11. If you just want the bonnet done, I'd say between £100 - £200. You may want to get it blended in though, which could be a bit more. If you can, this may be a good opportunity to get the bonnet and front bumper done together to remove any and all stone chips.
  12. I went vege for a year back in my teens. Bacon tempted me back, as always. I hate to say it, and I'm genuinely not trying to start an argument here, but not eating red meat but carrying on eating white meat for ethical reasons seem very hypocritical. If you think that poultry is slowly put to sleep on an anaesthetic overdose whilst being given a massage and listening to some soulful jazz, you're quite mistaken.
  13. It'll feel as quick as a stock WRX, which really doesn't feel that quick at all tbh. The STi on the other hand...
  14. I spent most of last night running through the PDF list of games and then when I found something interesting, Youtubing the video of it. Massive blast from the past. If I win the lottery tonight, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
  15. S'okay, I don't like the bumper tuck either Great work on the zorst and lights
  16. They still do that? Handy to know.
  17. Stuarty? Is that you? My local KF is fine. The Zed went there a couple of times, no probs with them at all.
  18. Awful news, so sorry to hear this. Fingers crossed he makes a recovery.

I wonder if the other person's insurer happens to be part of the Admiral group...
  20. Have a good hunt through the PH Roads section on their forums, some very good plans on there When in the summer are you going? MIght be worth avoiding the Stelvio as it'll be packed and taking in some of the other passes.
