Missed this earlier, but don't straddle those bumps: You're doing all sorts of damage to the suspension and your alignment, even if you 'barely clip it'.
Think about it: Suspension is designed to go up and down, up and down, all day long. It's quite happy doing that. It's not meant to have any play pushing outwards, and that's how you get increased wear and tear, along with knocking your alignment out.
Just drive over the bump with one side of the car, then alternate if there's room or if you feel like it. I never even thought about it until I spoke with Chris Franklin at Center Gravity, who schooled me on the error of my ways. He seriously knows his stuff, and charges enough for his knowledge too!
Sucks about the body kit, I take it that it's a mile out?
