  1. Subtle bits of real carbon are okay, but swathes of the stuff or any fake sticky stuff? Naff.
  2. Oh it's crap here too (no mainline to the airport 20 mins away!), just throwing the stick of dynamite out there What we really need to do is to start taxing vaping materials. Now there's something begging to be raped.
  3. DRLs. Ugly bodykits (that AM one is actually decent and suits the car, shame it's a rip off) 20" wheels Wheels that stick out beyond the arches Wheels that keep the tiny weeny brakes Pretty much most aftermarket wheels full stop (BBS & TE37 excluded) Interiors with a billionty Zed badges Cars slammed so low they scrape on white lines Tinted lights, front or rear Tinted side windows (as in the door glass) I'm sure I have more...
  4. Nowhere is safe any more, unfortunately. I don't think IS have anything to do with France personally, as it doesn't bear any of their trademarks. They usually cause as much disruption as they can, kill as many people as they can, and go for suicide by cop. These two in Paris are targeting specific people or security forces, and are trying to survive. Totally different MOs.
  5. People don't need to drive as there's public transport or cycling, and children are important to encourage as they're going to pay for the elderly in this country which is increasing too fast. /devil's advocate
  6. S'okay, it's balanced up by me thinking you're about 14
  7. Bloody hell, I thought you were older than that! Must be the mature nature of your posts. I suspect you're probably going to have to suck it up for a year, as long as that will guarantee that the 304 day thing definitely disappears from the letter.
  8. Lower fuel prices are, in general, a bad thing. The government are losing so much money on the tax, that ultimately they're going to have to raise taxes elsewhere...
  9. Arse, that probably does scupper it then. Which insurer?
  10. Have you asked your current insurer what their letter of NCB Proof says, exactly? You might find that it doesn't mention the 10 mth thing, in which case it may not matter. For example, I had an at-fault accident in 2013 but I've still got 10+ years of NCB, as stated on my letter. I don't know of any insurer that asks whether the NCB is 10mth or 12mth. If they don't ask, and it doesn't state on the letter, I don't think you'll have a problem.
  11. Original clutch?! That's seriously impressive. I'd get the chain done sooner rather than later though, but even so that's really good going. Well done sir!
  12. There aren't too many issues with the engine that bother me (a lot of the bits you'd do before putting it in, like the VANOS bits etc), it was mainly the SMG 'box in the original applications that had the most issues, hence me wanting to move to a manual one. That said, I would definitely go in eyes open and have a nice slush fund for the stuff that could go wrong!
  13. Pfft, rubbish excuse Says the man being too lazy to go look it up himself
  14. Don't suppose you have a link at all matey?
  15. They did, but again it's the double standards on being able to offend an entire religion based on free speech, but not the individual. How does that work? Actually, I don't think outrage and attention were their aims: Sounds more like to me this was a planned attack on specific people. Once that was done, they scarpered.
  16. Is it though? Sometimes yes, but not always. Sometimes it's there just to sell.
  17. If I can get the extension to my garage done, then I could still consider this a goer. However, it would mean getting rid of the MR2 to make space, and I'm not really sure if I'm ready to do that just yet. Really, I need to find a Zed and take some measurements before I do anything else.
  18. Nissan designed the perfect sports coupe for the mass market. They didn't design the perfect sports coupe for me.
  19. On a slight tangent, but related to yesterday's attacks: How come we are so full of backing to media like Charlie Hebdo, where everyone without question is backing their right to freedom of the press despite the fact they knew it would upset Muslims, and yet the interweb buzzword of the last year is troll? What exactly is the difference between a magazine setting out specifically to do something they KNOW will insult people, and random chav tweeting minor celeb that he thinks shes a dumb slut? To me, this is exactly the kind of hypocrisy that these terrorists are sick and tired of. Now, I'm of the opinion of sticks and stones, but even I can see that we cannot preach freedom on one hand but strike it down with the other. I'm not saying that the attacks were right, rather than everyone should be a little more tolerant of mocking.
  20. Will's absolutely right, it'll be here soon enough in the form of guns, not just just two nutters with a couple of knives. What bothers me most isn't the actual attacks, it's the fact that family and friends of these people must at least suspect them of being radicals but close ranks and say nothing.
  21. Where the potholes as obvious then as they are in those pics?
  22. And where do you live again? Y'know, just out of interest...
