  1. Keep an eye out for me, the car is particularly subtle this year...
  2. Unfortunately, they're all due to your original mistake, there's no easy way of saying that. I fear you're on a hiding to nothing here. By all means ask the question, but ultimately you really should pay up and consider it an expensive lesson in keeping an eye on things.
  3. Really? Never knew that, thanks for the heads up Seems bloody stupid though, surely a default is a default, but there you go folks: Better to screw the state than a private company!
  4. Well of course it does, that's photoshop for you!
  5. Bloody rip off, that's per surname so if you're like me when means the missus moved we'd have had to pay twice, as she still had the odd thing left in her maiden name. Sod that, I did the important stuff then told the new owner to give us a call if anything interesting turned up OP, you need to speak to the DVLA and the Mags to get some more detail. Sounds like an error to me, but either way you need this sorted as this is the kind of thing that ruins credit for years.
  6. Gorgeous!
  7. Hah, well spotted! That's what you get for not paying attention when you're copying across settings! I meant 3-5mm, not deg, correct. I've used both extremes of that on my old car, I used to play around with tyre pressures as well to get the right balance up front. If on stock pressures and assuming decent tyres, then 3mm is probably going to be fine. Bennet, that's exactly why I don't bother quoting front camber I just go as much as whatever I have on front allows me to, which works for me as I've never had anything allowing stupid camber fitted to a car. Running toe in at the rear never feels right to me, so I always leave it at 0 and that seems to work for me. There is no right or wrong setting, it just depends on what the driver is happy with the car feeling like. Some like understeer, some like oversteer, some like neutral.
  8. M3 exhaust tips are the same size, not staggered. 997.1 PSE cars, on the other hand, look like this: ...which happens to look ridiculous. Please don't do this! Also, the 458 barely manages to get away with the triple exhaust thing because it's so awesome otherwise. On a 350, that is going to be chav central and then some, I don't need a 'shop to know that.
  9. Easy to check if you have a claim, they'll just ask for the last MOT cert.

    Help please..

You might get more help on your posts if you made the thread title more obvious, rather than just a generic help. Lots of people will skip past the latter, but will click a link if it's more detailed
  11. Stock is understeer city. I'd go with as much front camber as you can get, a couple of degrees on the rear camber, zero toe on the back and 3-5 deg of toe out on the front. Pointy but slidey, should feel lovely
  12. That's as good as any
  13. Are the Torqen brakes not just rebranded ARTs? Not that that's a bad thing, mind, I'm just not convinced there's a need for them from a performance POV on a non-tracked Zed. I'm the first person to say do the brakes first, but a solid Brembo setup with good pads, discs and fluid will be more than enough, which you've already done Kaveny
  14. It really, really won't. You can't even hear it inside the car, or at least I couldn't on mine.
  15. Come one, come all, post up and don't be shy! Who's off to LM this year for the race then, in a couple of weeks? I'll be there, going out via Tunnel on Weds and coming back on the Mon, staying in Blue Nord in the PH/1st Tickets section. I've nearly finished stickering the car up, I'll post a picture later.
  16. I'm going to start a new thread, we have too many fragmented here. Gimme a min.
  17. BBK is massive overkill. Unless you're having issues already where you're locking the brakes constantly or have issues with heat, then you don't need bigger brakes. You're also adding unsprung mass, which will affect handling to a small degree. Clutch and fly will make massive differences to your drive however, as you'll have an engine that revs more freely so will lose less power from the drivetrain. That plus the headers will give you a net gain of around 10bhp at a guess, but in terms of feeling it will feel a lot quicker. The rattle is nothing, it's only there when idling anyway and how often do you sit there at idle thinking how nice your car sounds? Mine was as bad a one as I've ever heard, and even then it was just an acknowledgement of how awesome I was for fitting something that cool.
  18. Well yeah, but it came across like it was front and back of a single design. It was only when I looked properly I realised it wasn't.
  19. Why is there two different 'shops in the original picture? Wheels on the second one look awful!
  20. Nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
  21. How stable is that?
  22. Notice how Verstappen was still holding the steering wheel when he crashed: He'll only do that once, he could've broken his wrists quite easily. Lewis handled the whole thing very well, I thought. In public, anyway
  23. I wouldn't pay it either, certainly not on an 81K Nissan, but if you want FDSH then there's a price to be paid for that. What was the break down on it? That's where it gets really fun to see.
  24. Main dealer in expensive servicing shock. They have to pay for the nice uniforms and the posh showroom and the official name somehow. You can haggle them down though, so don't be put off by the first price.
