  1. 200bhp/ton is enough for the road, IMHO. Much more and you can't use it all, much less and you start questioning overtakes.
  2. The LS swap is far easier and has been done multiple times.

    Which Plate

Neither, you have a nice car now so show some class A7TAK I went for, that other one is just ghastly!
  4. Agreed, 0-60 is for pub p*ssing contests, it's a useless stat in the real world. 30-150 is where you sort the men from the boys, then 100-200 for the men from the Chuck Norris.
  5. In terms of tools, Halfrauds normally have a sale or offer on one of their bulk kits that have a selection of the basics, and they're usually pretty good value. You can end up spending silly money on tools, but I will happily recommend spending the extra on the Halfords Advanced range of ratchets and ratchet spanners: They've saved my life many a time, and have a lifetime warranty too.
  6. Mainly because of: ...as it sounds like something ripped word for word from the Government document for it
  7. I think it's so the government can hire on behalf of London based businesses and pay 'local' wages and allow even more exponential growth of the borough and outsource cheaper labour with viable options for commuting. You must be a manager. Or in PR.
  8. 99% of road cars are equal until you get to ridiculous speeds. On an average road, I reckon most people could keep up with anything in anything. It's all a matter of risk/testicle size. I have very little problem hustling my truck on the country lanes home from work at the same pace I take them in the BMW or the MR2.
  9. Wasn't misplaced at all, she was a c*nt.
  10. Do you have electricity? Or running water?
  11. No matter how awkward you might think changing spark plugs are on any given car, I can almost promise you they're harder on a 645. Fusking stupid thing. Oh yeah, you can do it without dropping the engine, but you need to push the aircon pipes down waaay past the point of comfort on one bank, and remove the positive battery cables on the other. You then need tiny Pygmy hands to get to pull the coil packs off, and half a dozen wobble joints to get to the plugs themselves for removal. Oh sweet Jesus I'm never doing that again! Not even my car either, the guy who had the blue E46 M3 on the Wales run flogged that and bought an early 645 cab, with the manual 'box as well of course. His has the fancy adaptive ARB things, and they're really good so I've made up my mind to change mine ASAP now.
  12. Not anymore, God bless the Tories
  13. And get a criminal record? Not worth it. Someone rapes your mum's face, then yeah go for it. Keying of a car? Life's too short.
  14. Don't worry, we're getting a fast train instead!* Seriously, the cost of HS2 would pay for fibre to every home in the UK. I know which would benefit the country more.
  15. You might find the bugs have etched into the paint, if so you'll probably need a machine to remove it. If not though, then Tardis or even AG Tar Remover is pretty good if you want to pop to Halfrauds today.
  16. Bingo, there we go. At least you know what's got his goat now, so quite possibly there could be a solution there. Why don't you park outside your house? Can you park outside someone else's house without causing issue? I know, you shouldn't have to, but if it came down to another 20 secs walk or my life being a misery because someone keeps keying my car, I know what I'd do for a quiet life.
  17. You're never guaranteed anything until it's in situ I'm afriad bud, there might be local issues stopping you reaching that. Tbh though, I'd be expecting to see at least 50, but if it was 40 I wouldn't worry too much. In general usage, unless you're downloading huge files all the time you won't see any practical difference between 40 and 70.
  18. Realistically, you'll have to get the damage repaired yourself. The police talking to him might just stop him doing it again. Depending on how likely a physical confrontation is (does he look the type, can you control your anger etc), I'd also be asking him directly in a calm manner why he did it. Tbh guys, I would hope that the police would do nothing about this in a first instance, especially without evidence. Think about it: How easy would it be for someone to set you up by claiming that they saw you do XYZ, and then you get found guilty on nothing more than a he said/she said thing? Pretty sure you wouldn't be happy either. Yes, it sucks, but without real evidence just what do you expect the BiB to do apart from a strong word? If he's only targeting you OP, then you've done something to annoy him. Loud exhaust? Anti-social working hours (him or you!)? Driving 'exuberantly'? People rarely do these things for no reason at all. Not saying you deserve it, far from it, but if you know why he did it then you're halfway towards stopping him doing it again.
  19. You can use your existing router, but you'll also need to buy a fibre modem to go with it as yours only does DSL. Given that the HH5 actually isn't a bad piece of kit, and it comes free with BT, you might as well just use that instead. Of course, you then have the option of using the HH5 strictly as a modem then using your router as a plain ol' router, which is the setup I have here. Speeds are much like ADSL, it'll be 'up to' and then you see what you get. Generally though their speedcheckers are more accurate these days, and you'll usually see the higher end of the numbers. Where did you get those from though, they seem oddly wide? No need for BT Business fibre unless you can think of a good reason why you'd need the business package.

    Lamborghini

Yeah, that makes it not his. You get that, right? I mean, top friend and all, but this thread would've gone down a lot better if we'd just had the truth from the start. The truth is awesome enough, we didn't really need the pretending that went on top. If it was supposed to be humorous, then I for one wasn't laughing. Jealous? Sure, I'd love to have an Aventador to drive even a couple of times a year. That doesn't mean that I can't pass comment as to the tone and purpose of the opening post. Whatever, I've enough haters on here without adding to the list

    Lamborghini

Why would he want an inferior car? ;) In other related news, I don't own a Lamborghini either. Anyone else in the same boat?
  22. Yeah, you would. Amanda Clapham is my go-to Hollyoaks fap lady though these days, she's gorgeous.
