  1. Actually, I wouldn't use them either! I'm like you mate, quality of cover over a few quid saved on the premium.
  2. If I give you my car details, can you get free insurance for me instead? It's a good point actually, I'd quite like to see something like that enshrined in law too. I don't expect their very best cut-throat price, but I do expect something sensible that offers both myself a good deal as well as letting them make a sensible profit based on what they might have lost chasing me as a customer.
  3. I haven't done a big eat for ages. I should totally do that again soon.
  4. Out of all the things that bother me, that one isn't even on the radar. Why would people not recommend someone they've had good service from?!
  5. Cheers fella, much appreciated
  6. Loads here for you My350z is the best place for that stuff.
  7. ^^^Tru dat.
  8. Either way, it's b*llocks and a waste of money.
  9. 200bhp/ton is enough for the road, IMHO. Much more and you can't use it all, much less and you start questioning overtakes.
  10. The LS swap is far easier and has been done multiple times.

Neither, you have a nice car now so show some class A7TAK I went for, that other one is just ghastly!
  12. Agreed, 0-60 is for pub p*ssing contests, it's a useless stat in the real world. 30-150 is where you sort the men from the boys, then 100-200 for the men from the Chuck Norris.
  13. In terms of tools, Halfrauds normally have a sale or offer on one of their bulk kits that have a selection of the basics, and they're usually pretty good value. You can end up spending silly money on tools, but I will happily recommend spending the extra on the Halfords Advanced range of ratchets and ratchet spanners: They've saved my life many a time, and have a lifetime warranty too.
  14. Mainly because of: ...as it sounds like something ripped word for word from the Government document for it
  15. Good, aren't they?
  16. I think it's so the government can hire on behalf of London based businesses and pay 'local' wages and allow even more exponential growth of the borough and outsource cheaper labour with viable options for commuting. You must be a manager. Or in PR.
  17. 99% of road cars are equal until you get to ridiculous speeds. On an average road, I reckon most people could keep up with anything in anything. It's all a matter of risk/testicle size. I have very little problem hustling my truck on the country lanes home from work at the same pace I take them in the BMW or the MR2.
  18. Wasn't misplaced at all, she was a c*nt.
  19. Do you have electricity? Or running water?
  20. No matter how awkward you might think changing spark plugs are on any given car, I can almost promise you they're harder on a 645. Fusking stupid thing. Oh yeah, you can do it without dropping the engine, but you need to push the aircon pipes down waaay past the point of comfort on one bank, and remove the positive battery cables on the other. You then need tiny Pygmy hands to get to pull the coil packs off, and half a dozen wobble joints to get to the plugs themselves for removal. Oh sweet Jesus I'm never doing that again! Not even my car either, the guy who had the blue E46 M3 on the Wales run flogged that and bought an early 645 cab, with the manual 'box as well of course. His has the fancy adaptive ARB things, and they're really good so I've made up my mind to change mine ASAP now.
  21. Not anymore, God bless the Tories
  22. And get a criminal record? Not worth it. Someone rapes your mum's face, then yeah go for it. Keying of a car? Life's too short.
  23. Don't worry, we're getting a fast train instead!* Seriously, the cost of HS2 would pay for fibre to every home in the UK. I know which would benefit the country more.
  24. You might find the bugs have etched into the paint, if so you'll probably need a machine to remove it. If not though, then Tardis or even AG Tar Remover is pretty good if you want to pop to Halfrauds today.
  25. Bingo, there we go. At least you know what's got his goat now, so quite possibly there could be a solution there. Why don't you park outside your house? Can you park outside someone else's house without causing issue? I know, you shouldn't have to, but if it came down to another 20 secs walk or my life being a misery because someone keeps keying my car, I know what I'd do for a quiet life.
