  1. Once again a lovely place to be, as long as you can't see the exterior. Merc have lost the plot with their exterior design of late.
  2. No, you're absolutely right, if looks were a priority then I would've gone with 20"s on there. Truth is the old wheels were shot and needing refurbing completely, and they were ugly as sin too so I used this as an excuse to get something that looked better. The fact I've still dropped weight at each corner at the expense of the wheels sitting slightly further under at the rear means I've gained performance, and for me that was the most important thing. I'd have loved to get a set of the M6 ones, but they are just ridiculous money and I'd have needed new tyres all round too.
  3. It odd, every time I see a pic I think the same thing but in the flesh they look fine. The rears don't even look that much tucked under either!
  4. #needsspacers I love that shot, I really do.
  5. Wouldn't bother me either. In reality, if a spacer is good enough for the road then it's good enough for a road car on track.
  6. http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/parts-and-accessories/2011-08/slime/ That's the correct link.
  7. Linky no worky, your browser has truncated the link.
  8. Exactly because of the signage! Bit late now, but if that ever happens again then go back and take photos of it, if the limit isn't posted then how are you supposed to know exactly what it is?
  9. But in answer to your question, given that they use laser these days then no radar system will help you. And laser jammers are very illegal
  10. Either that's BS, or I really hope you fought it as if they did you for that then that's a massive miscarriage of justice.
  11. If you need to worry about blue lights, you're driving like a tit
  12. Don't drive like a tit, and you'll never have an issue.
  13. They're big cars on the road. I parked up next to one the other week and it made by BMW look like an Elise in comparison. That said, I'd still have one. Worth it for the noise alone.
  14. New car. Don't ever, ever buy a flood damaged car. Ever. You could end up chasing electrical gremlins for years.
  15. Nope, nothing with that engine is anything less than awesome
  16. Nope, just you
  17. Nice one Grundy on a great article I see so much of how I used to be in that, and god bless having more than one car these days!
  18. Why on earth would you be too scared to take your car?! That's the whole chuffing point! It's hardly downtown Beirut.
  19. I remember when this was all fields... No probs matey, any time. Let us know how you get on.
  20. That's a very good point, hadn't thought of that. Well noticed sir Also, high five for super Google-Fu skills!
  21. PCD is 5x108, and M14 x 1.5 if you want the bolt/stud size too. http://www.wheel-size.com/size/ford/s-max/2015/
  22. I'm not sure the exhaust is big enough Congrats on the purchase fella, plenty of updates on this please!
  23. They werent just for the Roadsters. They were an optional extra on top of the GT pack. On my 2007, if you went for the GT pack you got the black leather seats and you could pay an extra £600 (I think it was) to go for either the Frost Grey/Blue or the Alezan Orange. Both are an acquired taste, so a lot of people didnt bother. Where the Roadster seats are different is that they are vented, so the seat back has like a fishnet style material rather than being solid like on the coupes. So those seats in that car are Roadster specific then, just like I said?
