  1. No. Just no. Sorry mate, but they don't even fit properly, look at the join where the line of the bonnet down the wing meets the top of the eyelid. I maintain that they look cheap and nasty, and are a dreadful throwback from the last decade and 'bad boy' bonnets. That said, as long as you like them that's all that matters though!
  2. The 650S and the 575 Superamerica would beg to differ.
  3. Tbh, that looks better than proper eyebrows on a Zed does.
  4. I'll be driving the fleet like I do the rest of the year.
  5. Your slave or master cylinder is more than likely on the fritz, not the spring. Very common issue, change them both before you get stuck.
  6. "It's a bit slow mate, got anything quicker?"
  7. Must be dealership specific then, the excess on the F cars I've driven has only been £500. Porsche excess is £200, and BMW only wanted a piffling £50 if I pranged an M3!
  8. Once again a lovely place to be, as long as you can't see the exterior. Merc have lost the plot with their exterior design of late.
  9. No, you're absolutely right, if looks were a priority then I would've gone with 20"s on there. Truth is the old wheels were shot and needing refurbing completely, and they were ugly as sin too so I used this as an excuse to get something that looked better. The fact I've still dropped weight at each corner at the expense of the wheels sitting slightly further under at the rear means I've gained performance, and for me that was the most important thing. I'd have loved to get a set of the M6 ones, but they are just ridiculous money and I'd have needed new tyres all round too.
  10. It odd, every time I see a pic I think the same thing but in the flesh they look fine. The rears don't even look that much tucked under either!
  11. #needsspacers I love that shot, I really do.
  12. Wouldn't bother me either. In reality, if a spacer is good enough for the road then it's good enough for a road car on track.
  13. http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/parts-and-accessories/2011-08/slime/ That's the correct link.
  14. Linky no worky, your browser has truncated the link.
  15. Exactly because of the signage! Bit late now, but if that ever happens again then go back and take photos of it, if the limit isn't posted then how are you supposed to know exactly what it is?
  16. But in answer to your question, given that they use laser these days then no radar system will help you. And laser jammers are very illegal
  17. Either that's BS, or I really hope you fought it as if they did you for that then that's a massive miscarriage of justice.
  18. If you need to worry about blue lights, you're driving like a tit
  19. Don't drive like a tit, and you'll never have an issue.
  20. They're big cars on the road. I parked up next to one the other week and it made by BMW look like an Elise in comparison. That said, I'd still have one. Worth it for the noise alone.
  21. New car. Don't ever, ever buy a flood damaged car. Ever. You could end up chasing electrical gremlins for years.
  22. Nope, nothing with that engine is anything less than awesome
