  1. This is why I'm strictly downloads these days. Plus, I'm too lazy to get up and change discs when I want to play something different How did you snap it?
  2. Games on disc? How very 90's
  3. Very roughly, a sealant is synthetic, lasts longer but has less gloss, and a wax is the opposite. That's massively generalising though, it doesn't hold true for everything.
  4. If you put a decent wax over it, it's fine. It's just because you want to use a sealant that is a bit of an issue. It is a short term stop gap product though, but it does do the job well.
  5. Shiny goodness
  6. No, it won't. Personally I'd ditch the BH for a proper polish, then add the FK over the top of properly clean paint.
  7. On a car worth £750, who cares what Cat it is? I wouldn't HPI a car of that value either, it's just cheap transport at that point.
  8. HPI, like everyone else.
  9. That's what I use it for. It's good stuff, but not the easiest to work with.
  10. You don't need a VIC test any more. https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-identity-check Just get it MOT'd and taxed.
  11. I'd argue there's no point using polish if you're going to use BH, and vice versa. BH contains loads of fillers, so it'll hide the swirly stuff temporarily. Polishing is always better though, it just depends if you've got the time or not.
  12. I'm the world's worst person to ask about offsets That said, you're only going out by 10/13mm front to rear split over both sides of the wheel. Should be fine.
  13. Must admit, I didn't know Lexx's suggestion either!
  14. Yup, right at the start of the manual. P9, section 5.
  15. Don't confuse a square wheel setup with a square tyre setup. You can run the former with staggered tyres and have no issues at all. Unless you're aiming at a specific track only setup AND have a significant ability behind the wheel, I would strongly recommend against running a square tyre setup. You'll be promoting snap oversteer and an incredibly twitchy car, which can suit some drivers but only in specific circumstances. If you want to tame understeer, do it by adjusting the tyre pressures and the geometry. You'll still get dramatic results if required, but it's much easier to tweak as you need to. If you're staying with 18s (and I would too) then in the wheel sizes you've mentioned I'd move to a 245F and 265R setup, that will still fit but won't upset the balance of the car. If you did run a square tyre setup too, you'll pretty much need to drive with VDC off all the time otherwise it'll be incredibly and potentially dangerously intrusive.
  16. They usually go between the hubs and the wheels
  17. Take it somewhere else. The MOT manual clearly makes an exception for modified vehicles, and is now far more sensible about what's actually roadworthy.
  18. Or just click the Z logo to the left of the thread title?
  19. Let's just say it needs to be brighter, and the wheels need to actually fit this time
  20. So when you start talking to your wife about potential upgrades/mods and she readily agrees to them without argument, you kinda find yourself in a win/win situation. For those of you not yet married, that's very rare, trust me Time to break out the credit car then...
  21. Sooooon my precious...
  22. Longest. Thread. Ever. Looking good mate, getting quite excited for you now!
  23. You need the separate EDFC kit, but yes they're compatible. Craig's normally pretty decent there, I wonder if it's a Tein thing and he's pulling his hair out as much as you?
