  1. I'd be amazed if there were any there, certainly not in the numbers you'd need to make a decision. I didn't see any at all at Japfest the other week.
  2. Just remember there's nothing wrong with not owning a car, being insured as a named driver on the insurance and doing the most miles. It's only an issue if you don't tell the insurer that's what you're doing. £600? I'd snatch their hand off.
  3. I'm not that brave Chris Evans was saying yesterday on R2 that all his Yank friends are expecting Trump to walk the election, on the basis that he's going to galvanise all those people that don't normally vote to get off their armchair and down to a polling station. And you know what, I can believe it too.
  4. Incidentally, last night I put a fiver on Trump to win the presidency election in November. At 3/1, I reckon that's a pretty good shout for some easy cash.
  5. I can imagine a few people's heads exploding right about now
  6. Hope he didn't take your heart with him. /geek joke
  7. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY CAN YOU PLEASE PUT THE BINS IN THE RIGHT ORDER ARGH
  8. Depends where you're moving to though, doesn't it? Or what house you want. Sure, if you're playing the percentage game then yeah, increases work both ways, but if it's a new build and the price is the price and you know what you can get for yours, then you're sorted.
  9. If you don't solve the problem, the light will always come back on. You're going to need to either refit the cats, or more easily just get a couple of O2 sensor extenders for your decats.
  10. Deposit doesn't have to come from cash, it can also be from the equity in the current house
  11. That's the best thing about WEC, you can drop in/out and there's always something exciting to watch Proper close racing throughout the field, it's a billion times more exciting than F1 ever has been in the last 6 years. Spa tomorrow!
  12. Please, never ever ever touch your car's paintwork with a Costco MF. I do have a large pack of them, but they're used strictly for the dirty jobs (engine bay, arches etc) or the glass. They're cheap for a reason, and I've seen them mar paintwork before if you accidentally grab the wrong one during correction
  13. Sadly, you're right. It's why for me, WEC is by far better for the actual racing.
  14. AIUI, they look at more than just the regular 3.5x joint these days, it's all about 'affordabilty' however they wish to define that. However, at near enough 45% LTV I can't see you having any issues as soon as you get past your 3 month phase with the new company.
  15. I'd be embarrassed if I was Ferrari. Kimi is the kind of brand ambassador I wouldn't want to be associated with: Lazy, miserable, turns up and does the bare minimum. How Sergio still puts up with him, I don't know.
  16. She spent about 2 mins trying to get into the box, then 30 secs of thrashing around when her head was stuck in it, then 20 mins killing the box for daring to entrap her head in it. Poor box.
  17. That doesn't matter. You can still go elsewhere, I was insured with Sky on the 6er and A-Plan on the MR2, it was A-Plan that mirrored it. You may well find that another insurer will still accept your named driver NCB, certainly can't hurt to ask.
  18. I can beat that for stupidity...
  19. I can't help it that the 6er is ugly!
  20. Truth, but stretching it. Most insurers will mirror your NCB anyway, so you can go with them. For example, my second car has the equivalent of 10 years NCB on it, despite it only being 3 years in reality.
  21. Can you not try another insurer? Surely on a limited mileage policy and mirroring your NCB it can't be anywhere near that much. Unless you're in Manchester, Bradford or Glasgow. Then you're on your own.
