Depends on how hard you are on the brakes, really. I'm very light, others are very heavy. Never used the Orange myself, I have tried the Yellows on track and they would easy stand up to a few days worth of abuse. I'd expect the Orange to be even better tbh, and really it's the fluid you need to be more worried about than the pads falling apart: It's very easy to overheat the fluid on a 350, especially if you're hard on the brakes (or if you're not: On a proper TD at the Ring I boiled mine, and the Ring isn't hard on brakes at all). I'm very surprised you killed a set of OEM pads in just three sessions, are you using very aggressive discs? Personally I'd be running ATE 200 fluid as minimum, plus braided lines and whatever choice of vented disc you fancy.

370z Traction Control light coming on and staying on...
Ekona replied to JoshC's topic in 370z Technical
Yup, as you've changed the balance of grip between front and rear. -
Throwing more glue and tat at a poor design doesn't improve it. That is absolutely gopping. Honestly, these things are the Veilside of the '10s.
-
Almost certainly. As I said on FB, I think you'd be better off just getting it wrapped rather than attempting to fix the paint.

I had a chat with CG last week regarding tyres, as I'm thinking of moving to Cup2s (which apparently isn't really doable unless you're running a minimum of 2deg neg camber all round, as it requires a certain contact patch to achieve the correct grip levels. Anything under that and you'll simply wear the tyre too quickly in the wrong places) and I asked them their opinions on the regular MPS4. The consensus was that they're significantly better than the MPSS, mostly due to using the same 4-compound construction as the Cup2s rather than the 2-compound construction in the MPSS. I mention this as the guy in the link says that he couldn't tell the difference between MPSS and MPS4S, which kinda contradicts that. Michelins are also quite noisy road tyres (their one big downfall), so it's surprising to hear him say that he found road noise minimal on the 4S. That said, road noise is subjective. That's not to knock the quality of the review at all, and indeed he clearly knows his stuff, just quirks of different opinions is all. Interesting how he says that 18" and 17" are coming in 2018, which I find to be both very good news and also very surprising. Personally I'll be amazed if they do, but it certainly makes tyre choice for next year interesting. For now, I'm keen to try the MPS4 and see what they're like.

TLOU2 won't be this year, no chance. Although it will still be out before GT7

Is it height adjustable? Even on non-adjustable suspension, they'll work wonders. They transformed my 911 from generic understeer sportscar into nimble rear-biased throttle-steerable hero.

+1 on Drake Hotline Bling has to be the biggest pile of junk released for some time. And that other song he did that nearly beat Bryan Adam's record, that was bland as anything.

Nope, still not seeing a valid reason to increase costs for the Club, sorry. How cheap do you think it should be? If it was a paid option here, would you take that offer up? Being in IT, I assume you have many different ways to store your pics already anyway.
-
There are still many other options, plus I don't think coughing up just because of one person is worth it.
-
Yes, I'd like to know why the Club should spend more when there are plenty of free options for users out there? That was my first question, and one you didn't answer.
-
Why don't you get some more quotes and see how it compares? We have no idea of your finances, and what kind of cover you actually require. Plus, all you end up with is a billion people posting about how it's either a really good deal because they're the same age but are paying £27M per month, or how it's a rip off because they only 13 and paying 27p every 10 years.
-
Why should the club have to shell out money when there are plenty of free options out there for people to use? 256k is plenty, no pic needs to be bigger than that, and tbh it's not like most people only use this place and nowhere else. If you open up the limits then people will just take the p*ss, as it stands the limit is perfectly usable for all but the very biggest of files.

I've never seen one using ABP.
-
I would, but I'd end up wearing out the F and C keys on my keyboard.

I'm going to start using my own webspace more. I just need a decent ftp app, and to remember my ftp passwords and server details

Touring cars are for kids who haven't realised that racing != rubbing. Endurance racing FTW! But anyway, I'll miss Bernie. Did far more for the sport than anyone ever has, or ever will. However, I await to see what influence Brawn will have on the tech & sporting side, as he really knows his onions. Will he tighten regs up even more leading to silly loopholes, or will he relax the formula to allow for more experimentation? I genuinely don't know.

You can make anything road legal over here, really. Germany would be a nightmare, USA probably a piece of cake, dunno about Japland. That really wouldn't need many mods to make it road legal here. Why you'd want to bother is another matter entirely.

Imgur is utter gash. I've given up with the app, so am using the mobile version of the main webpage. Can I put multiple images into a folder? No, not if I then want to be able to post up individual pics from that folder as it refuses to give me a link for each one, just for the entire folder. What about if I want to make a pic private? Easy on desktop, impossible on mobile. And don't even get me started on trying to delete pics, or even worse delete multiple pics in a batch... It really is a clattering clusterf*ck of a website. PB may well be a tad slow and clunky, but at least it lets me do the very basics of an image hosting site.

That, or a Ginetta GT4? Be about the same price (£75K +VAT), 3.7L V6 too... I suspect the Ginetta would be a significantly more competitive car, which makes the 370 a novelty rather than a GT4-spec bargain.

Running around town is the worst thing you can do with a modern diesel, they'll never get hot enough to ensure the DPF system starts working. It'll need a good long blast at speed once a week at least to make sure he doesn't end up with a big bill. Can't even remove it any more now the MOT rules have changed, either.

Personally I tend to stick with Acer laptops, although I am running a PC Specialist own-brand one as my work work right now which is spot-on. It's one of the better i7 models though, we've also got an i5 cheapy and the keyboard is shockingly bad.
