  1. The first hit on a google for 'nissan warranty transferable'... https://nissan-caree...aspx#faq-item17 Yes, it is. However it doesn't cover any modified vehicles at all, so unless the GT-R is 100% standard then it's not worth the paper it's printed on.

Seriously, go sit in a TT or R8 and have a fiddle with stuff. It's astounding.

They're the air vents, with the controls for them in the middle on little LCD displays which saves having separate HVAC controls elsewhere. It's genius, and works brilliantly. If you guys genuinely think that Inifiniti or Lexus interiors are better than that, ahm oot. The quality of materials is on another level.

New TT/R8 sets the standard for modern car interiors. They're utterly flawless, every button gives the perfect feedback, just enough driver-focus on the cockpit without looking daft, and the new LCD customisable display for the centre clocks is a work of cohesive art. 996 is a dreadful design inside, but the quality of materials is immense. Pick up an 18 year old 100k mile car now and it'll look like it did when it was 1 year and 10k mile old. Merc seats are beautiful but their infotainment is garbage, i-Drive is better but still confusing, new Panamera is a huge step up and potentially up there with Audi.

    New Z

But are people actually buying the Infiniti? Genuine question, I don't know. The Q60 is a billion miles away from the inside of a TT and a 718, and whilst it's decent it's still not up to standard (in fairness, not much is when it comes to the TT). I dunno, I just can't see where the demand is from at that price. Who here would buy a new Zed at £45K (working on £40K base + options + crap exchange rate)? It's not like the 370ZN is selling like hotcakes, and aside from the GT-R it's not like we're blessed with a bunch of cars from Nissan that are dynamic to drive. Ford, on the other hand, are class-leading everywhere across their range in terms of a fun drive. As much as I may knock the Mustang, as soon as you price the next Zed above it you've killed it, because who wouldn't want a V8 above a blown V6 for less cash?

    New Z

See, I can't believe they'll bring a Z-car out with a V6TT engine: It's too close to the GT-R. And if they did, what price? £60K? They can't shift the 370Z at £35K, and that's despite it being cheaper and more power than the rivals. Ford managed it with the Mustang, but it needed a V8 and a badge with history to do it. Looking at the new Cayman and TT as the usual rivals, Nissan would have to shove a small fortune into interior design to have a hope of picking up sales from there, and really the sports car market has never been where the money is, especially not now. I can't imagine they'll do another Z car, not for a long time and certainly not one fatter & more powerful than what we have now.
  7. God bless trainers on the PC, that's all I'll say. I don't mind DLC as long as it's done well. All this £2 for a new outfit though is ridiculous.
  8. I don't have enough time to spend hours and hours playing a game, retrying the same section over and over. I just want to be able to get to the end of the story. If they put cheats in all games, I'd use them all the time.

My handbrake froze on the other week, never had that before!

Won't look anything like that. It's a design created by a bored Autoexpress intern on his coffee break. Also, dual-clutch only. No thanks.
  11. Just take the airbag out if you're that bothered, no issue then at all.
  12. Not for TF days, no. However anyone with half an ounce of common sense wouldn't drive any track, much less one of the trickiest and most dangerous ones in the world, without one. And especially not in a convertible.
  13. I hated mine with a passion. Brilliant for about a week, then you realise it's just making the throttle too stabby and sensitive and you lose the ability to control the car properly at the higher settings. I took mine off, and would never go back there again. If you do decide you want one, you can 100% fit it yourself, it's a piece of cake. I believe Tarmac on here sells them too
  14. Sorry to see this Adrian, that's proper crap Genuinely glad it wasn't worse, and hopefully everything gets back on track soon for you.

Agreed, I'd rather have something I can move myself out of danger with quickly rather than a secure tub of dullness
  16. That's actually really nice, good job But for the sake of the car please lose that red stubby, it's dreadful!

They're not comparable at all, due to the leaps and bounds in tech that the industry has made in terms of safety. It's why even NCAP themselves keep changing the standards so that a five star ten years ago would only get a three star (or less) now. Of course a modern car is likely to be safer than an older one, that much is obvious and doesn't require anything other than common sense to comprehend. My point was that a direct comparison is useless and unfair.
  18. Safe? Yeah. Good idea? Nope. It'll make the car wobbly as anything, as essentially it's doing a very important job of connecting the two sides of the car together, so you'd find extra wear on suspension components and a hell of a lot of scuttle shake. The chassis would be trying to twist itself every corner. It may look a bit naff and flimsy, but you'd be surprised at just effective things like that are from an engineering POV.
  19. I desperately want it, even though I know it's going to fail so hard. Realistically unless Sony can bump up production of the PSVR to meet demand AND give some AAA games to use it with (RE7 is amazing), then I can't see where it goes. It'll be interesting to see if Scorpio use MS' ties with Oculus to give Rift compatibility, as I think there's a fair few people on here who would grab a Scorpio on launch if it had Rift + Forza 7 compatibility...
  20. 3 series saloon of some type would get my money if I needed a practical but fun car. E90 335i is a hoot. Or an Impreza/Evo, if you want to stay Jap.

The 350 is 12 years older than the Mustang, so any comparison on safety is pretty much irrelevant. It's like comparing the safety features of a 350 to those of a mk5 Ford Escort
  22. You mean the McLaren currently 85% owned by foreigners anyway?
